Even if it's not your taste, that's ridiculous, anyway...

For me the best band of the past decade (although, I know they already exsist longer), their songwriting, talent and everything else is outstanding. Steven Wilson alone is a genius, he doesn't work with so many other great musicians for nothing.

Definitely Hall of Fame, even when they are not that famous.

Anyway, enough yadda, yadda.

One of the greatest modern prog rock bands ever and that is a understatement. Steven Wilson is easily in my top 5 best lyricist and a great guitarist to boot. The whole band flows beautifully from song to song. You need to go through a whole album from start to finish to completely understand the power of PT.

Easily HoF.

Never heard of them. So I'm either too old (doubtful) Not cool (probably) or they're crap.
 
I feel I can't vote on this one, I can honestly say I haven't heard of them but at the same time I've heard a lot of good things about them on the Muse Forums I visit. Perhaps it's time for me to investigate them a bit more, I quite liked the 'Fear of a Blank Planet' song that was posted. So maybe I'll check them out later :D

Heard a lot of their music. None of it is exceptional to my ears.

You should definitely get The Incident, or their last DVD "Anesthetize" if you like F.o.a.B.P. (the two videos I posted above are are from the DVD).


Unfortunately this is just a short version of the track a lot of stuff is missing.
And if you like Porcupine Tree in general, but also some more melodic/more quiet stuff, you should check out Blackfield.
 
We need to break this tie with the poll. It is currently tied with "Hall of Fame" & "Meh"
