How to Show Paint Colors Without Losing the Chip
Needed: USB Storage Device (thumb drive, mp3 player, flash drive, etc.)
1. Save and exit your game.
2. Go to Saved Data Utility (PS3) on XMB.
3. Find GT5 game data and hit TRIANGLE > Copy.
4. Copy data to storage device.
5. Re-enter game.
6. Grab a car to paint and repaint it.
7. Head to Photo Travel and find a well-lit location.
8. Take photo of the car.
9. Exit the game and return to Saved Data Utility (PS3) on XMB.
10. Go to your storage device, find GT5 game data, and copy.

This will restore the game back to before you repainted the car and yield you photos of your paint on an actual car. 👍

I'll Trade you Matte Dark Red for matte Grey. It would also be helpful if you told me how to take pictures without losing the paint chips. And how about a R34 MNP II (the car, not the paint chip) for Midnight Purple Pearl?
 
I will trade the Matte Gray for the Matte Dark Red, but I would want more than just a paint chip for the MNP II car. A cheap Nissan Silvia in a dark color with the MPP would suffice.

Also have Deep Pink Metallic, Black-Eye Purple Metallic, In-Violet Metallic, Chrome Orange (not true chrome, metallic) and many other metallics.


I'm interested in your Maziora Andromeda, Matte Gray, Reflex Purple, Champion Blue

What is the difference between the matt black and matte black. Is the matte black darker? Also, how does the Black-Eye Purple Metallic look? Any chance of a photo?

In order of interest (without knowing about the above paints):
1. Silver Chrome
2. Chrome Orange
3. Maziora Everest

Obviously it's your choice, but you don't have to lose a paint just because you trade it. You can trade the matte gray to zhu8 and me both, and still keep it for yourself.

That's why I'm willing to trade Silver Chrome for "less valuable" paints.

I don't need anything right now but nice work with the thread. The rest of us have been too lazy to post pictures of paints. Also, the chrome orange isn't true chrome. In other words its not as shiny. More like an orange metallic. I still think it looks cool but I thought you should be aware of that. It also happens to be somewhat rare.
 
Gerseph, thanks. I know alot of people would probably enjoy being able to see how a particular paint (or paints) look on an actual car. The position of the cars also includes some shadowing and highlighting so that people can see how the coloration will vary with the environment.
 
Got your request s2k2k3, I wanted to test it out so I cannot send any paints tonight - but tomorrow I can start sending them out.
 
I have a matte red if your interested... Not really a fan of the red.

Looking for something orangish or purplish.

Anything on my list catch your eye - I will be taking photos of new colors tonight but I don't know what I will be shooting for colors as of yet. If I find more purples or oranges in my stash I will post them up first.
 
I like the butterscotch, or either the midnight purples... but I can't tell the differnce between II and III?...

Let me know if you have any oranges and if not I'll take the Butterscotch.

The basic difference between M.N.P. II and III is that III has more blue coming through it - so it has a slightly wider color shift than II. I found at least one other orange tonight that is much brighter - I will get a photo of it tonight.
