I'm a mathematician by nature, and so was wondering how the prices were worked. Luckily, a dodge viper with only 67 km*, costing suspiciously just under 1 million (335 to be precise), popped up. So eventually I derived a formula and created an excel spreadsheet for everyone's own use.

Examples and the formula are in the spreadsheet. I plan to create a list of every car's price, and will get a list of cars and work on that. I will need, therefore, every car at any given point in your UCD which is not done to be posted with it's price and km*. To check if the car is needed, download the latest file. Click on the Complete Car Price List tab at the bottom, and look for the car. If there is a price in the first column, that is it's calculated price (possibly rounded by 1 to account for the formula errors), and therefore I do not need info for that car. You are free to check that your data works to the same price, though!

*I have no idea if this works for miles, or even if PD bothered to change it for it.

Purpose: Showing the price of every car, for anyone curious!

CURRENT PROGRESS: 694/1031 - just over 2 thirds

There is also the trophy for buying a 300,000km car. This works by certain cars being given a mileage between 300000 - 400000, in exactly the same way cars are given between 0 - 100000 km for normal cars. And indeed the maths works identically - a 350000km car will have the same devaluation from the original price as a 50000km car. PD also chose specific cars which can have the 300000+ km, which are old cars. I am making a list.

PS: No idea if this would be better in Q&A, but extra exposure for extra data would be nice. Oh, and the numbers may be off by 1 - nothing's perfect, including the formula.

EDIT: v1.01 - OCD and my 30 cars updated. I am also aware the premiums are in there, and will add their prices soon.
v1.02 - updated all sheets, started adding price of premiums
v1.03 - all premium car prices added, awaiting UCD info.
v1.04 - added famine's spreadsheet & worked down to honda
v1.1 - Added everything from famine's spreadsheet, added a graph tab to show price degradation over kilometres, added totals & averages of prices
v1.11 - Added some cars as from data from my new UCD, averages updated
Work needed to be done: Get rest of data, add RM data* (need to find pricing for RM, then fill in), add list into this post of all cars which need info

*I remember a thread to do with this. Having searched rm race modify, rm race modification, race modify price, race modification price, etc... I can't find it. Any link would be very appreciated!

Summary: Here is an attached car price list. If you have cars in your UCD which do not have a price, post the model, price and kilometres. I would really appreciate it.View attachment 74526

So I worked this out for the VW Nardo Concept:

0 km 1,500,000 cr
5000 km 1,462,500 cr
10000 km 1,425,000 cr
15000 km 1,387,500 cr
20000 km 1,350,000 cr
25000 km 1,312,500 cr
30000 km 1,275,000 cr
35000 km 1,237,500 cr
40000 km 1,200,000 cr
45000 km 1,162,500 cr
50000 km 1,125,000 cr
55000 km 1,087,500 cr
60000 km 1,050,000 cr
65000 km 1,012,500 cr
70000 km 975,000 cr
75000 km 937,500 cr
80000 km 900,000 cr
85000 km 862,500 cr
90000 km 825,000 cr
95000 km 787,500 cr
100000 km 750,000 cr

So basically, the savings are pretty small.

Here's a few more pieces of data:

BMW M5 '05, 103054 cr, 23311 km
Tommy-Kaira ZZ-S, 51569 cr, 26659 km
Merc E55 AMG '02, 94136 cr, 21255 km
MX-5 SR-Limited '97, 14435 cr, 47893 km

Thanks for the data.

As your pricing showed it was going to beyond 0, i added this to the original post for my predicition on what they did;

"There is also the trophy for buying a 300,000km car. This would mean the value of the car would be half of it's original value, in negative numbers. I think PD used a 100,000km limit on every car, and had certain cars (2CV, fiat 500 etc.) which used a different formula after that value."

Thank you! I'll get to work and should have a complete price list soon enough. No need for anyone else to give data I guess.

Edit: I see there are a few cars missing, will make a list when all of these are added.

Would annoy me if he had, but oh well, at least it'd check his :)

EDIT: I searched your posts and found the user "Fastas". His latest database has cars' prices when they are used, NOT their original value. All cars' value ends in 0, which his don't (i think there was an occasional exception where it ended in 5). I will continue, then!

Hi starkrush, I would like to help if I can but clicking on the "Attachment 74526 link" I get "Invalid User specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator". Also I am unable to open the Zip file as I get the error, "Unsupported compression method for 'price calculatorv1.xlsx', I am using 7-Zip.

Cheers David.
