Anyone got a tune for this amazing F1 ? :) When I drive with my g27, the feedback goes crazy as i start to reach 300..

My feedback was all over the place as well even at low speeds and tbh the car didnt feel right at all.:grumpy:

This is another car where the gears need invividual tuning :odd:

Well here's a tune, but you're not going to get rid of the FFB shake. Trust me, it was going crazy for me as well on Nordschleife.

I always tune my cars first for Nürburgring GP/D, and then test them on Nordschelife. I've changed the oil in this car, and broken it in just a bit as well. It might go a little higher still, but for now here are the specs:

Ferrari F10 '10

716 hp
560kg

And here's my setup:

Aero: 127/175
LSD: 9/36/17
Height: (not adjustable)
Springs: 15.8/15.9
Ext: 7/8
Com: 7/8
Roll: 6/7
Camber: -3.2/-1.2
Toe: -0.55/0.53
Brakes: 8/2

There is so much room for variation with this car that you could tweak it to infinity. But I feel that the stock setup is very solid already, and most of how well these cars will perform weighs with the driver.

I ran this car for several laps on Nürburgring GP/D, with an average lap time in the high 1:08's. Fastest lap was 1:08:212, with a trans. setting of 199 mph.

I also took a couple of very conservative laps on Nordschelife. My fastest time was 5:25:167, with the trans. set at 217 mph (default). Don't go any lower or you will max the rev limiter on the long straight. I'm quite sure this car is capable of a 5:20 time on that track, probably in the 5-teen range as well.

Enjoy the tune, hope it helps.

In a stock setup and with a ds3 I managaged a 5:09 in the car with some oversteer in one of the sections, its just a matter of getting used to the car and "respecting" it.

here use this its what IMMORTALPILOT, the guy at the top of the charts in the most recent spa formula gran turismo seasonal event, uses as a bases on his F10. hes also top 10 in the 2012 GTAcademy for Europe but couldn't do it because he races professionally.

downforce:full
20.0/20.0
10/10
10/10
7/7

camber: 2.1/3.2
toe: -.45/.45

you may think this is crazy but it works just try it

this is what I use for a tranny and it is very fast, faster than that bogges tranny thrick that everyone talks about

1. set top speed to max
2. set final gear to minimum
3. set top speed to 224 mph
4. set gears 1-7 to max
(adjust only with the final gear and reset gears 1-7 to max every time you change the final gear)

also might sound crazy but its the fastest out there. Even IMMORTALPILOT can't get to speed as fast as I can but he more than makes up for it in corner speed.

I like my LSD at 5/5/20 but ive heard it works with 10/30/25

keep in mine this is just a bases it will need to be adjusted for each track.

The fact that this setup works, and works well is crazy. Anyway thank you very much for posting this! A much improved car over stock and your transmission settings work well.

This.

This is the best setup I've tried. I race with Immortal and this tune is legit at pretty much any track. Make the suspension as tight as possible, and differential should definitely be 5/5/20.

With default brakes, I assume?

Upd: 1.47,4 on Spa. Not bad, considering Hamilton's 2010 best lap during the race was 1.49. Some way off pole position, though (1.45,7 by Webber). I guess, RBR formula might be just faster and Mark is a little bit more experienced, but I'm not sure *lol

We don't have KERS and DRS. On most tracks IP's laptimes are a lot faster than the real world times, some even faster than the lap records on the tracks which were set by much faster cars.

Brake balance, I'm not sure what he uses but typically I use around 7. The higher you put it, the shorter your braking distance will be, but it also will cause more tire wear. Plus as far as front vs rear, I usually set it to even out the tire wear if I can

Awesome tune, thank you so much!

This has been the most comfortable setup I've found thus far, and with a few tweaks, I've made it better for my driving style.

My aero is stock @ full HP, but I lower it as I lower the HP at a 1:1 ratio by percentage of total/(total-current).

My LSD is set to 6/7/5, and my rear toe is +0.50

I've also played with the tranny a bit and I set it up as follows:
Top Speed max right, Final Gear max right, Top Speed max left (in that order)
Set all gears to be evenly distibuted 1st max left, 7th max right,
2nd = (max value - min value)(1/6) + min value
3rd = (max value - min value)(2/6) + min value
4th = (max value - min value)(3/6) + min value
5th = (max value - min value)(4/6) + min value
6th = (max value - min value)(5/6) + min value

Adjust final gear so that the car maxes out at the end of the final straight, then adjust 7th gear down to add approx 5mph to the Top Speed shown in the top right corner.

My braking is 7/10 with ABS set to 5. No other aids used.

I won't say this is faster or better than the original posted, I'll just note that it's faster and more stable for me and my driving style.

I'm on the DS3, so I hope this helps those on controllers.

Cheers, and thanks again for the help!
