Not sure if this should have been put in the Lotus-Renault thread, mods can move if they think it dosn't need a thread of it's own.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see if he's recovered in time for Bahrain, but it seems he'll miss testing.

Formula 1s Robert Kubica has been taken to hospital after what is being described as a serious accident in the first stage of the Ronde di Andora car rally this morning.
The accident occurred at around 09.00 CET, Sunday, according to media reports.
Kubica was driving a Skoda Fabia S2000 and is thought to have suffered fractures and other injuries, reports Savonanews.it, when his car hit a barrier on the drivers side.
The Pole, who races for Renault in the F1 championships, was taken to hospital in the Italian province of Savona by helicopter after being cut from the car wreckage.
Co-driver James Gerber is said to have emerged unscathed from the accident, however.
Details of Kubica's condition remain unclear though the f1.pl web site quotes Robert's father as saying his injuries "look ugly".
The accident appears to threaten Kubia's F1 grand prix season, which starts on 13 March in Bahrain.
