had what I thought was a decent discussion going about the future of the Game and it's current issues and an interest in others thoughts about the possibility of DLC.
Super Moderator police closed it because three of the issues discussed by others there have been addressed in other threads. Maybe DLC has too. Who knows

Clearly the game is getting a bit stale to quite a few.

Where are the Complaint threads by the way? Apparently that's where all discussion of the games perceived flaws belong, whether in the form of a complaint or not.

I was just trying to see if anyone else felt like the game was a bit of a grind at a certain point and if DLC is the answer?

Is DLC Coming?

Does PD own or have interest in this site? JK :sly:

I agree

I love the game and I would buy it again and the wheel, but I believe they held back or over looked, or I don't know. The game could have been soooo much better.

Wow. This forum probably not for me. I came to discuss current events with people right now while I am online. Not dig for old info and opinions posted whenever. I am new here and mostly like to just see whats up with people online at the moment, maybe meet someone to play online with. I am not anal enough to invest a lot of time sifting through info. Hoping it would come to me.

The problem with the chat is that 90% of the time is the same people and there is never more than 20 members in it.

Since my thread somehow I became the modhater in the chat according to them and was harass by them when I went in.

I have nothing against mods, they do a great job most of the time but sometimes they do abuse their power.

Went ahead and used the search function. Found a thread about DLC. Wanted to bang on the last guy to post for saying he's perfectly fine with $5 for a few exclusive cars and tracks etc, but it was posted on Dec 20th. Guessing theres not much discussion going on in that thread anymore. Perhaps moderators should delete an old dead thread instead of killing new ones they don't like the content of. Ahhh the Internet

There are thread on this every day but the problem with the search function is that they don't display by date. I know this is not exactly what you were looking for but it is regarding DLC.

My $100 dollar title is supposed to cost me more?
Prologue plus GT5 = $100 + ? is enough

I am going to go out on a limb here and speculate that there going to hold back the Content generating the most interest for DLC at a price as well.

This game was seriously light in the Content Department to begin with.
Lame if it does go down that way. Not to mention that features listed on the packaging have been omitted from the game so far.

Oh, it's not really light on content, I wouldn't go that far lol. Plenty of cars and plenty of races, more than most other racing games really.

Light for a $100 title
Prologue $40 finished in a couple weeks and never went back
GT5 $60 bored after a month

Granted. I did log a lot of hours and miles and I am overall happy with the game and time I have spent with it. Paying extra to own cars I should be able to earn racing is lame. So is paying for new tracks. It seems The majority of this game was emulated from Previous versions? There doing what all developers and Corps are trying to trend towards now. Trying to milk us for more while giving us less. It only gets worse if we allow the trend to continue. I am still down with PD until they get Greedy.

Just going to throw this out there. Any one think theres a chance PD will be collecting Marketing revenue from Auto Manufacturers at some point, if not already? That would be my business model if I were Kaz. My 12 Year old sons perception of what cars are cool is based on what he sees and drives in Gran Turismo...Milk them. Not us.

So... what's worse... revive a thread every week, or have several users create entirely new threads on the same topic every day?

There is nothing wrong with bumping a perfectly usable old thread... especially since we don't have either paid or unpaid DLC yet.
