Has anyone worked out if XP/Credits are related to the length of race, B-Spec Level etc. ?

It seems to me like you are awarded more credits when your Bob's level is lower.

That seems to be the theme , 0 or low level Bobs that place lower down at the finish appear to gain more money, so if that is the case just delete your Bobs when they level and become good.

Yes I've noticed this too shame no ones answered to this thread because I was wondering the same. I can't work out wether your best off doing say two 10 minute races or one 20 for instance.

You're best off having a bunch of friends using your drivers, leave all but 1 or 2 online. Tell your friends to use your drivers, educate them. Not everyone knows about this yet or how to do it. That is the best thing to do.

Maybe I can help some atleast some credit info. made 3 extra accounts, i was curious myself and this way it was easy to avoid info getting miscalculated by friends racing against my drivers, ran all 9 races, keeping track of credit total after each race, was using 16 drivers: 1 level 28, 1 level 17, 4 level 16, 4 level 15 and 6 level 0. the info i gather from the 9 races was this;
Payouts - they do have a structured payout for the remote races. All 5 minute races pay the same. All 10 minute races pay the same. All 20 minute races pay the same.
Issue - Payouts seem to be random, you could finish 1st and receive 16th place payout. whether this is a bug or not is unknown. probably is though.

For 16 players Payout is as followed:

5 Minute Races: 1st 12,500, 2nd 8,720, 3rd 6,230, 4th 4,360, 5th 4,110, 6th 3,740, 7th 3,490, 8th 3,110, 9th 2,860, 10th 2,490, 11th 2,240, 12th 1,870, 13th 1,620, 14th 1,370, 15th 1,180, 16th 1,060

10 Minute Races: 1st 20,000, 2nd 13,980, 3rd 9,980, 4th 6,990, 5th 6,590, 6th 5,990, 7th 5,590, 8th 4,990, 9th 4,590, 10th 3,990, 11th 3,590, 12th 2,990, 13th 2,600, 14th 2,200, 15th 1,900, 16th 1,700

20 Minute Races: 1st 35,000, 2nd 24,490, 3rd 17,490, 4th 12,250, 5th 11,550, 6th 10,500, 7th 9,800, 8th 8,750, 9th 8,050, 10th 7,000, 11th 6,300, 12th 5,250, 13th 4,550, 14th 3,850, 15th 3,320, 16th 2,970

remember, this is just the order of payout, doesn't mean if you finish 1st you'll get 1st pay, also it didn't seem like there was a favor towards lower levels, highest paid after the 9 races was a level 0 (earning 94,400), after that it was level 16 (earning 93,970), level 28 (earning 88,200), another level 16 (earning 64,030), then a level 15 (earning 62,410), that was my top 5, my guess is just go with the flow and hope you get lucky enough, maybe one day they'll fix the pay so it rewards correctly.

sorry this post is so long if somebody wants to repost this they can, just wanted to help after finding the amount of credits that can be won for the 9 races for a 16 player race, thats all i got for now

Your ps3 has to be on anyway, better off xp wise to let bob grind an endurance while your not home imo.

It's good to see some people trying to gather data and figure out how the money/experience prizes in remote racing work. There's no way to see payout results from your web browser, is there?

I can't gather any data on payouts right now, but I did notice that the 5/10/20 minute estimates are only roughly accurate. I've hosted each race at least 3 times now; below are the average durations of each:

Tsukuba Circuit: 6.3
Autodroma Nazionale Monza: 8.0
Superspeedway - Indy: 7.0
Special Stage Route 5: 12.6
High Speed Ring: 12.7
Tokyo R246: 11.3
Suzuka Circuit: 25.0
Trial Mountain Circuit: 22.7
Superspeedway - Daytona: 20.7

So, as far as I can tell, it's quicker to run Tsukuba, Tokyo, or Daytona than the others in their groupings. Based on what I've seen, I'll probably just be hosting Daytona from now on - seems like it's the most efficient way to grind when you factor in the time it takes to set up a race.

Do these races count towards "The Air of Experience" Trophy? Also, does the driver increase levels doing these? I can see the number of races raced going up but not sure if the career bar is going up or not? Same with the driver, Bob is level 39 and doesn't look to be advancing?

i have no idea the xp payput, but i like it. i have 3 sub accounts now with 5 drivers each that i run from my main account (because its already at 40), and the money and xp has jumped up from 0 to over 20 just today on them.

Its odd though. You gain experience but this experience is NOT counted in the experience bar. I have 3 accounts with just B-Spec drivers on them and they are at ~lvl. 15 but their bars are empty.

Avoid the Trial mountain race if you're hosting - my lev 38 driver is dead last in the crappy Aston Martin V8 Vantage '99, behind 2 lev 0 Bobs!

The car you get in that race is purely a matter of chance. I have hosted there 20 times and only once did I get the Aston.

2 of the 3 races have cars which can't win, Suzuka with the Super GT cars unfortunately places the Lexus SC430 behind the 8 ball and it languishes near the back.

There's definitely a lot of XP to be earned with remote racing.

I'm already at level 35 as I speak, thanks to it.

Yeah, using a second account to race all my main account pilots gathers me 750k Exp in 8 20 min races.

Its possible to have a lvl 40 B-Spec driver and not only not play that game save but never check on him to boot and still have 0% completion.

So the credits/xp rewards have changed for the remote races. Less credits, more XP.
I ran a 20 minute Daytona race, and here are the credit rewards for the finishing positions:

1: 20,200
2: 15,150
3: 11,110
4: 8,080
5: 7,680
6: 7,270
7: 6,870
8: 6,460
9: 6,060
10: 5,660
11: 5,250
12: 4,850
13: 4,440
14: 4,040
15: 3,640
16: 3,230

For every 100,000 credits, you get about 180,000 XP, I think. So almost double compared to credits.

In theory, if all your 6 bobs finish in the top 6 constantly, and they race 3 long races per hour, you can make 69,490 x 3 = 208,470 per hour.

And in theory, if you have 4 accounts, so you can run 16 of your own bobs in all the races, you can make 119,990 x 3 = 359,970 per hour.

And if you run the races automatically through the night, in 12 hours you could make 12 x 208,470 = 2,501,640 (6 bobs), or 12 x 359,970 = 4,319,640 (16 bobs).

In reality, however, you can probably get one long race done per 25 minutes (including loading times, and some races take longer), so in 12 hours you'll likely get about 28 races done.
That would total to 1,945,720 (between 6 bobs), or 3,359,720 (between 16 bobs).

Sounds a bit like going to work...

If you set GT5 to server mode, then click one button on your computer to start the widget, it handles all the races automatically. Then you just collect the money/xp in the morning. Not that much work.

U need to stop sharing that particular driver using your ps3 , after removing that bob from shared drivers list , he'll get xp and u'll get b-spec xp as well as some money .

You're right. Easy money and xp while you sleep 👍
