How do I lend a car to someone?
Cars can be borrowed once they have been shared with friends, which can be done by selecting a car from the Garage and selecting "Share with Friends" from the menu that appears when the Triangle button is pressed. "Share with Friends" can also be selected from a car's details screen.
How do I borrow a car from someone?
To borrow a car from a friend, first select the friend from the Friends tab in the Community section of GT Mode. If that friend has shared any cars, they will appear at the bottom of the profile information displayed on the right-hand side. Select the car you wish to borrow, then select "Borrow" from its details screen, and it will become the car you are currently using.
Cars can still be used normally by their owners when they are on loan to friends.
Were and how can I use the borrowed car?
A borrowed car can be used in A-Spec and B-Spec events, Special Events and Photo Travel mode, and you can also change its settings and register it as a favourite, but
you will be unable to do the following:
- Use GT Auto.
- Use the Tuning Shop. => you can not buy, but you can use or not use what is installed.
- Share it with friends.
- Give it to friends.
- Sell it.
- Use it in online races.
What if I change to another car from a borrowed car?
If you change from another car from a borrowed car, the borrowed car will be returned to its owner. If you have changed the car's settings, those changes will also be lost, and the settings on the owner's side will be unaffected.
Any exceptions?
You cannot borrow gift cars acquired from the PlayStation Store, or any cars of the same type as those you already own and are sharing with friends.

At 6 cars shared per person, you only need 6 friends to share all of these. Trouble is that your friends are limited to 100.
Ill work on a setup tonight and suggest friends (that do not have a lot of friends on PS3) for sharing.

Silly idea: As rent for sharing, you could ask people to run some remote B-Spec races with shared drivers from time to time.
