I remembered the Toyota Minolta being my go to car in GT4 when I finally got one, and I remember it being incredibly stable and super fast. I think I partly remember this because when I was playing GT4 I don't think I ever knew to turn off driving aids, so I'm sure that accounted for it's perceived stability.

When I got one in GT5 I found it to be way too squirrely and unpredictable and I couldn't do anything with it due to losing traction and spinning out accelerating on anything but a straight line.

Anyways, I read a lot of tuning guides and played around and came up with this. With all aids off and ABS-1 this is super stable provided you give it a little tenderness on the gas coming out of sharp turns. It will still lose the back end if you want it to, which I rather enjoy.

---I added no mechanical upgrades, this is tuning only---

LSD
Initial Torque........30
Accelerating...........5
Braking................20

Suspension............F/R
Ride Height.......... -6/-6
Spring Rate.......... 14.8/15.8
Dampers(ext)....... 8/8
Dampers (comp)... 8/8
Anti-Roll............... 6/6

Wheel Alignment......F/R
Camber.................. 1.0/1.0
Toe angle .............. 0.1/0.1

Brakes............... 7/7

I have downforce at max F/R right now.

Yea it's not a balls out full tune, but it worked wonders for me and should make anyone happy who finds the Minolta a little too silly for their taste. The LSD settings are what really make the difference.

Thanks mate its a good tune . The car felt much more neutral , far easier to drive quickly .The lsd settings made it possible to get the power down exiting
corners far earlier without excessive oversteer !

It even rides kerbs well on nordschliefe and doesnt get thrown about over bumps / elevation changes .

Good job done my friend !

Your LSD settings have tamed the beast and nearly eliminated the snap spins! Well done! 👍

I applied your LSD to another fast but squirrely tune and it handles do much better with my DS3.

I still have squirrels. Not as crazy, but I'm racing on Monza. There's a certain spot where it just doesn't want to cooperate.

As far as your comment out it still coming out if you want it to, if I wanted that, I'd use the e-brake. Not the brake-brake. :S

Managed to drive a 38.982 on Superspeedway Indy with this setup. Car felt more agile, but if yo can't control the power it's not going to help unless you get used to the car. Driving with a G25
