Hey guys,

I created a thread in the feedback section asking for an option in online lobbies to make mandatory pit stop.

* The option for have 1 or more mandatory pit-stops in online racing
* The option to force drivers to use 2 or more different tire compounds in online racing.

pretty much just rules from formula 1. It would be a helpful to a lot of the online leagues & even make online racing in some rooms more fun.

Vote for a Pit Stop option

Please vote it up, i think most of us online drivers would like to see this option.👍

Mandatory pit-stops. Atleast 2-3 times each race.

When it rains you MUST change your tires, by going into the pits ASAP.

Is there going to be a poll?

The only problem with having to use two types of tyres is that, in this game, all the tyres grades seem to last just as long as each other. You just have less grip. So this won't help some drivers. You are not getting the advanage of a slower tyre lasting longer. If they sort that problem out, then yes 100% I'm up for it. Has anybody else noticed this.

Yup this is true, hards don't last any longer. You are just slower, i dont know ho PD did that

But it would still be fun to have drivers on hards & softs, it would make people have to think about strategy

I vote NO on mandatory pit stops. Let racers use their own strategies. I agree, the fact that different compounds wear the same is not a good thing for a simulation. If someone chooses the wrong tire, that's their own fault, let them pit because they have to and not penalize those who plan properly. Or if the weather changes and you need to change to/from rain tires, everyone has to deal with that and the playing field is level for everyone. I have won many longer races because I conserved my tires (passing those who pushed and had to pit for new tires). Good strategy and patience should be rewarded.

if you dont like it why did you bother posting? this has nothing to do with conserving tires or people choosing the wrong one. In many race disciplines you have to make @ least 1 mandatory pit stop. All i was saying is that it would be nice is PD made this an option when you create a lobby. Not for all lobbies.

Considering the length of the races and how fast LMP cars chew the rubber, it won't make any difference whether pit stops are mandatory or not: they already are mandatory.

Therefore I vote no.
