April is going to be Super Car Month.
Initially I was going to split this into two months, but due to last months experiment of 2 cars per month, we're gunna shoot for 2 winners again this month.
If it doesn't work out, we'll use the 2nd highest voted car for May.
For now the highest two cars will be used, determined by combined votes per car then divided by Max/Moderate HP based on car specific votes.

Id like to see an ACR with about 850hp that is actually useable and doesn't need traction control and can take the turns like a MR car. But mostly id lime to see a mpderate hp ACR.

The Ford GT will be the '06 as this is the premium version, no?

Why such a "big" car again? If there are 2 cars per month again, then why not split the next 2 months? Supercars and hothatches for example and in April 1 supercar and 1 hothatch and the same in May... this would give some variety in test driving and tuning... Just from what I see in this month with the Xanavi Z and now the Raybrig NSX I'm done with Super GT for the moment to be honest. I really like to drive them and I will test out the NSX tunes, but I wouldn't mind if we already had an other category now!

And for the supercars there are already a lot tunes out there! I found for all cars several tunes, some cars are tuned by 5 different shops! That tells me, that most tuners already have done them more or less and they wouldn't need 2 weeks for the tune?

Why no BMW M5 or Shelby Cobra? I know this is personal preference but I think these 2 and some others are important supercars!

Basilea makes a good point and it's the reason why I voted for the SLS. Aside from maybe the Citroen GT, all the cars in the poll have been tuned numerous times already. Hell, me and RJ alone have covered over half of the list and there's other big shops that have covered the others. The SLS probably has a tune out for it somewhere but it's not as loved as the other supercars so it needs some support. :D

Now that you guys mention it, thats true there are alot of supercar tunes. But i have one suggestion, why no Saleen S7 tune? I remember one tuner did it bit the performance was sub par unfortunately. I say do the Saleen, its a hell of a car to tune.

It is all about Premiums because we can all get the at any time!

And, no offence, there are 200+ car that can be test-tuned and it doesn't look like you help in any otherway than just drop one car after another... I would easily know some cars, that I love and getting them tuned by 5+ tuning garages and competed against each other to find the best possible tune!

Suggestion:

If low HP is chosen, then sport softs.

If high Hp is chosen, then a racing tire.

I think most people will use at least a racing hard on high hp cars? Right?

I really want to see even high HP car with only sports soft, racing soft gives too much grip it's not fun anymore and hide too much the true nature of the car. Street cars should be tune with street legal tyres, that's what I think anyway.

A whatson Martin? It's a cross between an Aston Martin and Austin Healey.:sly: But that's where my vote went, a DB9 is the softest POS GT car around, not even close to being a supercar, it's barely a sports car, an HSV Maloo R8 is capable of defeating it, and that is (loosely) a commercial vehicle!:P So the DB9 is in the highest need of improvement.

Sorry for the few typos, the list was hand written as I haven't been in game for a week or 2.
The previous agreement was all street cars, get street tires, all race cars get race tires.
But as always, it's up for discussion.

Max powered street cars are not race cars though... not by my definition anyways. If it has adjustable front and rear aero than I'll slide it into the latter category. Sport Soft is doable on all these cars with 800+ HP, the trick to minimizing wheelspin is getting the dampers and LSD setup right.

We do the tests in online because this is the future of the game (more or less) and it has a different physics, although I'm still not sure about this! This is something we, as the tuners challenge community, could test for good? If it is different in any way and we continue the testdriving, I would say all tunes should be made on racing softs! I have never entered a lobby where someone didn't drive racing softs! And if not I don't see a point in testing online , as it makes it a bit more complicated (write down lap times, set up new lobby because of connection loss...).

I still don't buy that the physics are different offline and online. The people who point out "cold tires" are the ones who I think have it right. My tunes are usually pretty close to the same in both worlds after a few laps.

Front-engine cars oversteer more (or understeer less), mid and rear engine cars understeer more (or oversteer less). Fuel weight and cold tires would explain it better, as straight-line speed takes a bit of a hit online, similar to a heavy fuel load.

Please show me a 897hp Audi R8 tune then on sports soft if it's doable.

dis tune is so esey.

No but seriously. It's not a good handling car but it certainly doesn't need race rubber for 900hp. It's a good idea to use race tires (car will certainly outrun itself on S3s), but not strictly needed for it to be driveable.

That's where the issue rises, because being a time trial event, being overpowered on S3's would cause it to outrun itself ALL the time and times would suffer as a result RJ. :) Not saying it can't be done, it's doing it while being able to maintain maximum attack like what is needed for a competition like this. That's the problem and I for one haven't solved it yet. ESPECIALLY when you're facing people on Racing Softs online and are trying to keep up with them. :yuck:

Also, I disagree, the R8 is an awesome handling car on tracks such as Rome. 👍

I don't think anyone would dispute that Sport Soft tunes should be competing with Race Soft tunes, of course the race tires are going to still have the advantage online. Back to the question of whether it is possible to tune with Sport Soft, it most certainly is. Do you still want a tune or were you just being facetious?

Hey man finally got around to posting but you ever get a good all around tune for the 206 Rally?? like to see where you're at with it and let you know how it works out.... Hit me back man
