I have already bought this same car with low miles too but I have like 7 mill so I was wondering would this be a good buy anyway? I've never seen a 0 mile car in the dealer before so will it be in perfect shape like no engine overhaul and stuff? Might get some better performance out of it too, I'm not sure I'm just kind of asking.

May as well just stick with the one you have already. It's such a brilliant car, one of the games true gems and very underrated by many. :)

Miles in GT5 are overrated IMO. Stick to the one you have.

Go buy a car with 1000km on the clock then go and buy the same car with 60000km on the clock. The lower km car will have more power and more PP because it hasn't been run into the ground, and engine rebuilding will not get the 60000km car to get the same hp as the 1000km car.

Example: '98 Lotus Elise 190. A 40000km car fully built gets 295hp.....the one with only 1000km gets 299hp. Even in the UCD, you can see the difference between them from the price, to the odometer, performance points and the hp difference between two identical cars. Best example I have at the moment in my UCD is the Infiniti G35 Sedan. One with 400km, the other with only 8000km. The one with 400km on the clock has 3 PP's more, and that's before I've even looked into it more deeply.

ok well i have one day left before it clears the lot what should I do? The one I have now has like 2500 KM and maxes out at 833HP, This one going to be able to be broke in and achieve a little bit more HP? I'm mainly collecting the American cars so it won't really hurt to waste my money on another one and keep it for only online racing so I don't put any miles on it. But then I guess I can't break it in that way lol.

Wouldn't matter at all if the C5R would ever come my way.

you win it after you complete all extreme event level 21 ticket in B-spec, dont waste ur money, when u can win it.

I bought the Nissan R89 that had only 81 miles on it from the UCD, but yes, I do agree that the mileage on some of the cars is rather crazy..

Cars don't start to lose HP until they have done about 5000km and due to the 0 miles one not having been broke in, the 0 miles one will actually have less HP than the one you already have. Basically there is no point in buying another.:)

Nicely put but a car with 0 miles on it is still going to be better than one already broken in. It's a brand new car with the potential to gain more hp than the one already broken in which will only lose hp from whatever point you started owning it. In GT5, there is always a reason to own newer cars, I personally try to have a double of cars that I cannot find with 0 miles, like prize cars that I like driving. I send to my other account and buy used, I keep the 0 mileage cars like a collector because that's how i like to play my game :D

The max HP of the Oreca Vipers is 833BHP, which his car is already at.;)

that is #51.
the topic is about #91 which is level 22 :)

actually, both cars are the same but anyway...

Actually there is a difference between the #51 and #91. The 91 is quite a bit faster both in the straight line and around a track even though they both have 833hp. I think the 91 is a year newer than the 51 maybe that's why. I've given both the exact tune and took them around Indy. No contest the 91 was 3+ secs faster and topped out over 223mph in the straights.

I have two #91's. One setup for Indy grinding and one for roadcourses. Love these cars. Blisteringly fast and very underared by the majority. +1 Should have been premium.
