This is an old maxed tune not easy at all, i don't use it anymore. Try this at 600PP.

NISSAN R390 GT1 ROAD CAR '98 // ONLINE OK //



Tuned to the max with aero kit.

Transmission how to process:
1- Select default
2- Select final gear at 3429 (STOCK)
3- Select top speed at 360 km/h =223,7 mph
4- Set each gear at this ratio:
1: 2780
2: 2008
3: 1519
4: 1193
5: 0968
6: 0813

It 'll give a top speed (above on the right) of 349 km/h = 216,9 mph

Tracks: All around / adapt with final gear to each track

FASTEST ROAD CAR ??? i DON'T SEE ANY TUNE FOR THIS GREAT CAR SO I DO MYSELF ONE. I THINK I WAS A LITTLE BIT LUCKY TO FIND THAT SETTING SO QUICK, BUT IT'S REALLY GREAT. TRY IT AND GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK PLEASE.

But can I just say I love the balance and eagerness of the nose to dance into the corners, very good job sir!
 
Thank you, now i'm tryng to make it smoother for the "nurburgring", to have more "driving line",the most important on this track, i think i need to reduce proportionally all this settings.
Thank you also to teach me one more english word, eagerness : "" a positive feeling of wanting to push ahead with something""" Great definition. That's the spirit.

Wow, excellent tune! I also had trouble taking the R390 online. Now I can use this as my secret weapon for "no race cars" races :sly:

Hi, yes my friend, it will be a pleasure to tune a race car version, but i don't have it, always the same reason, always poor, so much time spend tuning, no money earn. haha.
If you have one ,and can borrow it, i can do an offline tune. I think it's not possible to go online with a borrowed car. It's diferent but i can try to do as close as possible. I do this last time for a vertigo and it work. ( the vertigo is much more problematic than the nissan for shure).
So, let's try, if anybody have one to share........

You can take borrowed cars online, I'm certain of it. I've done it in personal lounge, anyway.

I'll check this after the job, but last time with the Vertigo it was impossible. Yesterday too with the NSX my friend sent me andto test back online i've to send it again. Borrowed he did'nt go online.. If the car is less 1.000.000 i think it's not a problem to send to me.

Maybe we can't take them in open rooms, I don't know. But try taking a borrowed car into your personal lounge. We do it often in league practice, borrow each others cars so we can run against each other to compare.

That would be a good result. I'd love to see a good offline tune of the R390 race car. Willing to put it up for lend if you can't get hold of one. PSN myelement.
 
When you guys bought your R390 how many miles did it have?

I found a really low mileage one 250klm are many of the Race cars low mileage like this?

Sure thing; it will be interesting to see how it turns out. It has the potential to be fast, I think, as it's pretty light for a GT car. And has that Group C V8 which is pretty cool. The stock LSD settings seem really wrong in this one. Plus understeer on long bends, and corner entry sometimes, and oversteer when releasing the brake others. Know idea what I'm doing though really, nice to see how it's fixed!

Hi, yes ,i ad you already. I'm tryng to fix the "Mercedes sauber C9 race car" actualy, finishing, and it was te same kind of problem, i have to set the LSD 10/10/10 ,dificult to go higher, and the rest was fxed with ride height, gearbox and spring balance. It stay good, but still wild.
 
You can borrow my R390 GT1 Race Car,just add me
changed the oil,engine and fixed the chassis and it only got 440km so should be fine :P
if theres any other car you would like to borrow just ask :)
just got my road car gonna try your tune out soon.

Do what I did, take a nap down the straight away so you're fresh each lap ;)

Yes ,it work, remember GT! with the Impreza..... HAHA. Long time i was not so rich 2.600.000 ..... # cars..... Good seasonal , i want every week.

3- Select top speed at 350 km/h
4- Set each gear at this ratio:
1: 3938
2: 2854
3: 2169
4: 1709
5: 1390
6: 1169

It 'll give a top speed (above on the right) of 333 km/h.

Mines fully tuned up, engine rebuild and everything but the gears dont match n neither does PP. My highest 1st gear is 3.872, i'm guessing the PPs are through wearing engine in a bit but does wearing engine in affect gears too or is teh tune for the Race version not road? (listed as road)

Yes... It's just one more i have to reset after the last patch 1.10.
I'll do the new modification when i go home later in a few minutes.

LOVE the NISSAN R390 GT1 ROAD CAR '98 tune. tested it earlier on the super car seasonal and blew past the other cars, hugged corners perfectly, one of my favorite tunes i've gotten from the site. top marks :D
 
Trie dthe tune onlien against a few mates last night (with teh corrected gears) and its awesome. deffinitly upped my game. I have made a slight alteration that, if ur mates are like mine and prefer street courses over track then i altered teh sway bars to

F:3 or 4 R:5

They like going on tracks like cote d'azure (F:3) and Rome, Madrid, London ect as well as the Secret Route/Tokyo city tracks with tight corners and i found the oversteer given from softer front sways a lot more responsive and faster for getting round the hairpins and awkward corners of C D'A and the other city based tracks.

Feel free give it a shot. i've just used it on super car festival again and got first by end of first lap on the Route 5 course

Very good, you're right there is no perfect all-around tune, but with a good base it's easiest to adapt to any track. I'll try your set on Monaco later.
