Hi all.

The PSNs down, bad isn't it? So heres a little challenge to put a little fun into it.

Rules
You must get a car, new or used for under 25,000cr and with remaining cr tune it as far as you can.
Then go to practice mode and select Top Gear Track and set a time in your car
Post here the time you got and car you used, a leaderboard will be created here so you can compare other people's times. If there are any suspicious times they will not be posted on leaderboard. You may only post 3 lap times. Good luck!

Leaderboard:
1.Onboy123 1:18.891 Car:Mistubishi Lancer Evolution VI RS TM '00
2.gOLd 1:19.061 Car: Lancer Evo VI RS '99
3.Logisteini 1:19:579 Car: Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI RS T.M ´00

10.darren200cook 1.35.866 Car: Nissan Silvia Ks S13 (Premium Car)
11. VW 1:37.413 Car: VW Lupo 1.4 '02

New rule and prize info,
You must buy the car, it can't be a car already in your garage as it might be tuned to a point where its value is more than 25,000cr.
If you manage to get 1st place between now and when PSN goes back online, you will get my Nissan Silvia Ks S13 (Premium Car) as a reward.

If this gets really popular I might keep this going.

I just hope the fastest car is not a 276bhp Japanese 4wd! I find it a little annoying when nothing can touch the bang for buck factor of the Japanese cars.

Nevertheless I like the idea and I'll give it a go :) . Check my latest thread for a similar idea, just on the Nurburgring and with 15k instead of 25k :D .

I think we should give 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners a prize.

@logistenini, I'm not accusing you of cheating or anything, but I'm find your time hard to believe. I've just bought the car you used with all the modifications you used on it and I'm struggling to beat 1:20.000, let alone 1:19.5. Maybe I ain't good enough, but I just can't believe that laptime. Oh well, I've had my shot at the lead, took it, lost it, and I guess I'm just a bit sore.

Edit: Can I make a suggestion? Instead of 1 laptime only, how about we have 3 chances at it, so that there's more chances and more competition.

OK 3 chances

This seems to be getting really popular so i'm going to keep this going until further notice.

I ran a 1:19.061 in a Lancer Evo VI RS '99. It was far from being a perfect lap so I believe this time can be shaved a second.

IMO, you really should make it so that people can use different cars for new attempts, even if they've posted before. It makes no difference. People will just use different cars anyways, just not post, same thing.

Lol, well you can try again by taking off some parts and 'add' the value back to the money you have left and spend it somewhere else. And I think you should, because (forgive me if I'm rubbing it in a bit) what it just managed to do was lose to a Nissan Bluebird from the 60s.
