Hi, I organise a race series on the World League Racing forum http://www.worldleagueracing.com/forum

We organise racing on both the PS3 and Xbox formats and I will be starting a new season of the Lotus Challenge Trophy next week, subject to PSN being back up and running. As the title of competition suggests this is a one make series and for this season we will be using the Lotus Esprit models.

Just wanted to tell you a bit more about the championship. This is Season 6 of the WLR Lotus Challenge Trophy, and we'll be using the Lotus Esprit V8. This season also sees us using an imposed tire compond change, each competitor will have to choose from Sports Hard or Sports Soft compond to qualify and start the race on then, in the mandatory pit stop, switch to the alternate compond.

Each race event will comprise of a 5 lap qualifying race, then a mid distance race with a mandatory pitstop followed by a sprint race (no pit required) with a reverse grid of the first races finishing postitions.

Next Thursday (26 May 2011) sees the first race of a 6 race season starting at Nurburg GP.
