All right, I've won the first two events by 1.5 and 2.5 seconds. For those of you struggling as much as my friends, here are the setups for those races:
Fiat 500
Upgrades: Put in all performance upgrades except for different tires, weight reduction, carbon hood, and a turbo kit. Put in the window weight reduction and detune your power to 65hp. This will allow for the lowest possible center of gravity using weight reduction and the maximum allowed hp at every point in the rpm range.
Don't forget to add lightweight wheels and all of the aerodynamic options. Max out your downforce in tuning.
Transmission: Set your top speed to 93, it will say top speed of 95mph next to the graph however.
Suspension: Ride height set to -25mm front and rear, spring rate 15 front/14 rear, all dampers 8, all anti-roll bars 6, all camber -1.5
Brakes: 6 front, 8 rear
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lotus Elise
Buy all of the upgrades for this car except for lightweight windows and a cf hood. "But wait" I hear you say, "won't that push it way below the weight limit?" Yes, yes it will. But most of the Lotus's difficult handling characteristics can be attributed to an insane amount of weight in the rear. Lowering the weight elsewhere allows you to replace the weight where you want it, in this case that would be the center of the vehicle or slightly forward depending on your driving style. I can't see this car ever being 'easy' to drive but this will help a bit.
Same deal with the power: detune it for the maximum power throughout the entire rpm range. Don't forget to add the front splitter, canards, wing, and lightweight wheel in GT Auto. Max out that downforce, you'll need it.
Transmission: Set your top speed to 118, it will say top speed of 120mph next to the graph however.
Suspension: Ride height -25mm front and rear, spring rate 15 front and rear, all dampers 8, all anti-roll bars 6, front camber -1.5, rear -2
Brakes: 6 front, 8 rear

Subaru Impreza
I need help on this one. The Subaru Impreza happens to be my vehicular kryptonite. That is to say, I have never been able to put down a decent time in one of these for no apparent reason. An Evo I'm okay with, but for some reason I just can't drive the Subi. So comment with your winning setup, if there's one everyone agrees upon (HA!) I'll edit it into this post. Thank you, and good luck
