Here's an interesting video I've come across today.

Thoughts?

And please, share this video as much as possible. People need to know about this.

Also, my apologies if I posted this in the wrong area..

Oh and there's some language in this video and link. Not much, but it's there.

I doubt that this bill is supported by any industry or companies who actively use the internet for advertisement or promotion or events or whatever. The television industry as a whole has generally embraced internet press. Disallowing people on the internet to share materials like this would be very harmful to word-of-mouth advertising, which is honestly a large part of any advertising. I don't think a bill like this will be passed any time soon.

EDIT: I agree with his assessment of televisions and movies being a different type of media than video games, and obviously these industries have embraced the internet to different degrees. Some video game companies want people to upload footage, and thus they have introduced methods within the games to upload user videos.

Also, you should put a language warning on there. The guy gets a little rambunctious later on.

This bill is not making no sense. Besides, there are games that allow videos & clips to be uploaded to Youtube such as Black Ops, so why create such a thing?

Because hollywood wants to stop piracy, though this bill was definitely rushed..
