Just noticed on one of my Bobs that his skill bars are changing from green to white/grey striped. About 3/4s full its green then from there onwards its the white/grey. All my other drivers are all green though.

Just wondering if this is normal or is it a glitch of some sort?

I've explained it the best I can I think, I can take a photo if need be :)

he's getting old. If you notice that the grey bar starts impairing your bob's performance, then you may need to retire him, as he'll never get that speed back:grumpy:

Make sure you grind him up to a full career bar. (500 Races) to get the trophy though.

+1
He can be a complete moron to loose sunday cup in an X1.Even for a Bob.Bob!

Ah right :(, he's my favourite driver too as I've had him since I started GT5  Is there a cause for this? Or just simply he's getting old/ used up? I had noticed too when he's entering a race his strength bar isn't full either, which I'm assuming is down to the same thing?

He's at 475 wins now so once I get that trophy he's getting the sack

Yea all offline, maybe a handful of them are remote races but no more than 10 I would say. I use my other drivers for remote racing.

I meant 475 races not wins so I'm not too far off it now! Wins is around 425 or thereabouts, but thats irrelevant like you said.

Just a pity he's doing a Schumacher and getting slow in his old age

I've yet to understand what makes these Bobs fade away. Ive never had a bob make it past 185 races. My last retiree had only 58 races when he started to decline. Seems that even if they are new bobs if u don't use them frequently they just start to decline.

The in game manual actually suggests that you retire your drivers when that happens. I just cannot imagine doing that.

I'm yet to reach this point. I don't think I could even bare getting ride of my 4 team drivers. Their my first and they've gone through several endurance's helping each other along the way! I might cry! :( :scared:

I think what may have caused mine to degrade was I was putting him into the the Indy 500 endurance race on his own, which meant he was doing most of the race with his physical strength gone in a X2010. I killed Bob :(

Well, I noticed yesterday, I put my level 39 B Spec on a Dream Car Championship to grind for XP, I want to put it in Level 40 before he retires.

An I noticed in the last race, at the Ring, I always watch physical condition on this race, which is longer, and we started about 75% or 80% of full physical condition.
