Comrades! When life gives you lemons, make lemonade, and ladies and gentlemen, do I have much lemonade to offer!
As you all know, Polyphony Digital has gained the notorious reputation of dishing out content who's demand is nill. Trading value caps, paint chip system, random OCD and UCD, Ten million MX-5's and Skylines, and faulty racing suit system!
My friends, you all know these useless dents that GT5 has implemented, confusing them for vanguardist gaming design, yet PD has not stopped adding them. So in the spirit that Mr. Kazunori has announced impending new content (be it in the form of new seasonals, a new patch, or DLC), no doubt he and his crew will throw something utterly useless to us.
So! We can play a little game, and have a little fun with the lemons that are bound our way.
I call it;
These are the rules:
Name a feature that you think will be added, and it must contain at least one the following criteria;
1) It must not contribute to the game in any way. (example; the paint chip system that limits the number of coloring options).
2) It must have little to no demand (as a guideline, it must be on the 5th page and behind in the Feedback poles in the event that it IS in some sort of demand by a small minority). (example; treating racing suits like paint chips, a limited good).
3) It must break some unbroken feature already implemented in the game that is enjoyed by GT players. (example: messing up the AI).
4) It must take away an already implemented feature that is actually good.
It must contain all these criteria;
1) You cannot guess that it is a new seasonal. It is far too predicable and general. But you can guess what kind of seasonal will be added (a new FIAT seasonals for example).
2) Only one feature per post (and you must declare explicity that you are submitting a guess). You cannot post multiple features in a single post.
3) You cannot repeat a guess that someone else has already posted.
Tips; because of the guesswork nature of this contest, try to keep it relatively simple, nothing to elaborate or huge, that will increase your odds of winning.
The winners wil be the first 3 posts that guess correctly a useless feature that is to be included in the upcoming batch. Said 3 winners will have the right to request and receive any tradeable car of my car collection (or I can merely buy you any tradable premium one). All the cars I own have all tires and non-permanent tuning upgrades installed in them, and are all restored and in perfect condition (as if they were 0 driven, except for a restored engine that was once broken, giving a bit more of hp). The car's body and wheels can be painted in any color that you request, I have all matte and chrome colors available, and I can upgrade them with permanent body and motor upgrades if you wish.
The Contest will expire when the upcoming content arrives, and the winners determined! However, I will extend the contest if the batch of content is far too small (only 1 or 2 small features implemented).
Feel free to discuss possible features. Anything not declared as an explicit guess for my little game will not count. But id love to see some discussion going on. ^^
