Looks good in that color. Any problems with the engine? I heard of a recall for seals (failing e-tests) a while ago but didn't know if it was for all 8's.

It is green but only in the sunlight and when it's clean. Neither of which happens a lot...
None so far. I haven't had a hot compression test done yet. That can give an indication of how well the seals are holding up and how close it may be to going "bang" but it restarts fine when it's hot. If it doesn't like restarting when it's hot that can be an indication it's on its way out.

Go to autotrader and do a search for a 54 plate 231bhp RX-8. About that much. And it's not as much as you think, but be prepared for high fuel costs...
Nothing, and I don't really plan on doing anything to it. It is my daily driver and I don't have any spare cash to make any changes.

If it's a 2004 192 that's about normal for over here. A quick search on Autotrader has them starting at £3,000.
Folk are put off from buying them because of high fuel costs, road tax and perceived lack of reliability but, if it passes a hot start test, then you should be good to go if you can put up with the fuel and other costs.
I average 21.8mpg with a best, on a long motorway run, of 26.8mpg (18.1 & 22.3 in US mpg)
