I know I'm not the first to do it, but just wanted to share.
I'm all for sharing different tips/techniques on doing these challenges.
Here's my gold run about a week ago on the Suzuka track.
Towards the end you'll notice I kinda let go off the gas (accidentally) a little bit which cost me some time.
ps: My thread about this in the main forum got closed because apparently mine isn't the 'first'. I didn't realize that I can post there only if I was the first to ever do it.
And strangely while my thread got closed, a thread which talks about using glitch to cheat has been actively left open for some time.
My Nurburgring and Monza runs for anyone who's interested, has both 1st-person and 3rd-person views:

They're not impressive runs (I always mess up on the 2nd laps), but I'll take it. ^^
