Air cooled porsche? Hmm a little too unreliable for me. Yuck.

You do realise this isn't doesn't have original parts on it? The whole point of sending it to Singer is to have all those unreliable parts replaced with modern components so it doesn't break down.

It's still air-cooled though.

The original car is Sub-Zero. What do you do when you make a Sub-Zero car even better? Shove it even farther into the icebox.

The original would be cool.

Trying to imitate, or rather exactly copying someone you think is uncool is a major do not in real life. Apply it to cars and this is uncool. Would be seriously uncool if not for the fact that the car it represents is pretty damn stylish.

It's cool, a brand new air-cooled 911 is always cool. The wheels are quite gigantic, but that's a necessity given the added power.

Sub Zero, timeless classic looks with the reliability of a modern day machine. Marvellous, I will have mine in green.

Much like MildAshers said, Vintage 911 beauty mixed with modern day technology = Sub Zero.

And those wheels.

Has to be sub-zero, just look at it. I would probably take an original RS and a well kept 930 over it but for the price and what it offers in the mix of restored classic car and modern amenities and performance it's surely a great car.

I suggested this car for the Cool Wall simply because I'm not usually a fan of 911's...but this just looks brilliant and has the tech to match.

Sub-Zero.

Love the concept. However, does it make it sub-zero?? Not in my eyes. Now before I get taken to the woodshed for saying this, let me explain.

Overall, to look at, it's beautiful. Engine performance is wonderful with the engines being built by Cosworth in America. HOWEVER, it seems like it's another tuned Porsche that could be built in a garage with many weekends of work put into it, albeit with modern parts. It's not like RUF who completely re-manufacture a car, Singer are restoring the car to it's glory days.

For that, it gets a cool, because it's a very cool car....but nowhere near being fridge worthy, I'd put any 911 Turbo in the Ice Box before this even got within 20ft of the door. 👍

There is no word for people who spend six figures to buy a Porsche that looks like an older one.

This vehicle is most definitely at Zero degrees Kelvin. There is nothing on sale that comes within 14 million light-years of being this cool.

It's cool, not sub-zero. I like old 911s and this is a restored one, but it's not the real thing. On the other hand, a CTR Yellowbird is one of the coolest cars around. :sly:

I think its cool, I appreciate the companies and tuners out there that retrofit the classics. Older cars were more unreliable generally.., SO! Since when did that stop a true enthusiast from going 'gaga' over them?

I think older cars are generally more reliable as for the amount of things that break simnply because less things can break.
