Welcome to the Manufacturers Global Team Championship!
SEASON 2!
---------------------
Concept
Welcome! The concept for this series is to incorporate 3 primary components of racing.
1. The use of strategy between team mates.
2. The use of a factory sponsorship.
3. The use of specific restrictions to enable close and very competitive BUT FUN RACING FOR ALL SKILL LEVELS!
If these are things that interest you, please read on!
There will be 6 weeks of racing. Each race will have specific criteria you'll need to meet. Here is an example from a race from last season.
Items listed in RED will typically change from week to week. You will use MANY different cars and tunes!
Example Race
Time: XX:XX GMT (GMT is NOT BST. It's GMT/ZULU/UTC!)
Date: TBA
Track: Nurburgring Nordschleife
Weather: Sunny
Host: EivlEvo
PP Limit: 550PP
Tires: Any
Ballast Allowed (6 kilos or less must be at position zero): Yes
Engine Limiters Allowed: No (If they're necessary, inquire)
Aerodynamics Parts Allowed: Yes
Racing Cars Allowed: Yes
Racing Modifications Allowed: Yes
Concept Cars Allowed/Tuner Cars: Please inquire
Driving Aides: Traction Control, Anti-Lock Brakes, Driving Line
Penalties: Off (Please race as friends should)
Track Edge Grip: Real
Damage: Partial
So for this race, you would select ANY CAR FROM YOUR CHOSEN MANUFACTURER, and modify it with whatever parts you see fit within the regulations. This includes; tires, pp, ballast, aero, racing cars, racing mods, etc. etc.
This gives you a number of options for cars. If you happened to be team Honda for example, you could've run a nicely modded integra RM, or a lightly modded NSX or anything in between! It makes for very exciting racing, because you end up with vehicles that normally don't get used heavily in normal aspects of the game.
If you're STILL interested, please read the next section.

Race Details
Below there is a list of manufacturers. You'll notice that some have been listed together. This is to expand their pp range into a usable range so that manufacturers like Fiat and Ferrari could participate in this event. If you're interested in participating in this event this is what you need to do.
1. Select a manufacturer group that you and your team mate will use. If you don't have a team mate, that's fine... simply let us know which team you'd like to be on, and we'll assign you a team mate as one becomes available. When selecting your team, bear in mind that EVERY manufacturer has a weak spot, and every manufacturer has a stong spot. An example of this would be our reigning champions at Subaru. Their low level PP amounted to basically the Subaru 360, and their high level PP was nothing fancy either. However, through a combination of great driving, and a bit of luck with the weather on some stages, they were able to keep Audi and their firepower at bay.
2. Once you've selected a manufacturer... do your best to try and amass as many of the cars for that manufacturer as you can. You never know when a Ford Ka, or an RS200 will come in handy. I don't dupe at all, but I ended up duping some cars for races so that they could be used later, since there's no real way to reduce PP after you've heavily modified a car.
3. Any questions that you have PLEASE ASK!
4. If you decided that this event is for you, then choose a team, and read on.

^^^Specific Rules^^^
- Race Track, PP Limit, and any restrictions (HP, Tires, Aero, etc.) will be given with 1 week notice.
- Driving Aides will be set to off with the exception of Driving Line, and ABS. We're also going to allow TC.
- Grip Reduction will be real, Penalties will be off, Damage will be partial. We expect that drivers will race respectfully.
- Penalties are unrealistic, but so is cheating. In the event of a complaint, please PM me and my co-host and I will review the event. Any details will be helpful (time, place, etc.). We won't hesitate to just boot someone if they're driving poorly or unfairly. That said, we're pretty poor drivers too, so if you're new to this... please feel welcome.
- In the event of an accidental corner cut, or accidental collision, please make it as right as you can on the track. If you've overtaken someone because of "questionable tactics" please allow them to get ahead of you. If it means losing, so what... it's a video game.
- The only form of reducing a vehicles PP will be with ballast. No power limiters will be allowed! If your manufacturer does not have a vehicle that can be made to comply with the regulations through these methods, you'll need to contact us as soon as possible, and we'll work out a solution.
- We have the final authority, always. You have the option to quit whenever you want.
- Races will be chosen through a random track generator so that we have no more advantage than you.
- Race length will be roughly 1 hour. Tire/fuel consumption will be on. Expect to pit.
- We're expecting the first race to be the first week of December. Races will be held Tuesday at 10pm Eastern. This is 03:00 GMT time. We realize that this may be inconvenient for some people, but it is convenient for the hosts.

Manufacturers List
Manufacturers List
* All of these manufacturers have been setup in a fashion that seems to be favorable to all. Our goal is to get you to use cars that you love, or otherwise may never use/tune/race. If a manufacturer that you wish to use seems to be paired with another in a way that isn't favorable to you, we're accepting requests to split them or combine them in different ways, so let us know. For the most part though, we feel that we have the teams aligned rather solidly. Also, there are some manufacturers that simply don't have enough cars to participate (we feel), if you decide that you want to use one of these (Holden comes to mind) then you're welcome to let us know, and we'll handle it case by case.

I feel like I've covered most of the details, but I'm sure I've left some stuff out... please pose any questions. This is our second event hosted and we want it to be excellent, but inevitably, we'll have some stumbles here and there, so bear with us.
