Finally met up with my son, where he was trying out his new MotoBike he got from his Grandpa for a early B-Day gift, I will note, it's a 70cc, 3 speed auto Honda. This was also his first day on a dirt bike, he'll be 11 at the end of this month. (Such a proud father I am....:)) :

I'd be afraid for my child (no i don't have one. I'm only 15). I would get him a mountain bike. Probably costs less, geting exercise at the same time, a little bit safer, and no gasoline cost. As long as he's happy though, but it's going to hurt really bad when he busts his butt and (I hate to say it) he will. I really hope he doesn't get hurt but it's gonna happen, believe me I know.

But anyway nice pics. I like the first one and the third one the best.:)

Damn, I wish I had a Motocross bike!

Pako, you live in such a beautifully scenic area...

Well Pako, you never cease to amaze me with your ability to take a picture.
Excellent work man.👍
What kind of camera do you have and what kind of tricks do you use to get such a high quality? And how did you get such a good picture of the moon like that?
I've tried to get some good shot's of the moon before and they never seem to turn out with the quality that yours do. :irked:

It's so green up in the mountains now isn't it? Vail has certainly been the greenest that I've seen it in a while. As opposed to last year when half the state of Colorado was on fire.

Thanks guys, and you know, that valley shot doesn't even come close to doing justice. I'm currently looking into a Wide Angle lense for it, which will help a bunch. All the shots are taken with my Sony DSC-F717 Digital Camera. I have to confess that the moon shot was taken by my wife. She just used standard settings, but she did mess with the white balance of the camera until she got a good shot. The camera has a great auto-exposure setting, that as long as you can keep a steady arm, you can get some pretty good shots in low light situations. That the beauty of digital, is you can keep snaping pics until to get the one you wonna keep and just delete the rest.

This camera is a 5.24 MegaPixel camera which helps, but I also think is has some good optics as well as great technology behind it. All the shots posted are have been reduced in size to 16% or the original sized image, if that gives you any indication as to the full resolution of this camera.

Oh man, yeah, the mountians are always this green this time of year....the snow's been melted for a couple of weeks now, plus we've had lots of rain to boot.

How do you reduce the pictures in size. I really want to post some of my pictures that i've taken but when i try to post them it says it's too big. I don't have photoshop or anything like that but there's is something on my desktop and it says "photo impression 4" but i've never used it and i don't even remember how it got there. I'll have to open it up and see what it is.

So SOMEONE PLEASE tell me how you do this. I have some really good pictures!!!

The concepts will be the same for all programs, but the terminology and execution will be different.

I'm not familiar with your program, but I would look for things like:

Image Size
Shrink
Resolution
Target Size

Just to name a few, that might get you headed in the right direction to editing your picture sizes.

When you save, choose Save As, then choose .jpg .jpeg, then do configure or options or whatever is in the box, it should give you compression options. Or maybe that's not all programs...
