Rules:
GTP OLR Rules
  • Please familiarize yourself with these rules prior to the event.
  • You are expected to behave like sporting gentlemen at all times. Dirty driving is absolutely forbidden.
  • If you cause a contact, you must make contact concessions. ie: no bump-passing
  • Failure to make contact concessions will result in a post-race penalty concession. (ie: you will be placed below that racer in the results)
  • Caution must be exercised when re-entering the track after an off-road excursion caused by any reason.
  • Carless driving, recklessness, dive-bombing insides, or aggressive risky maneuvers may result in post-race penalties, and will certainly result in your fellow racers being ill tempered.
  • Retaliation, "payback", & monkey-see-monkey-do rule flouting will not be tolerated.
  • The in-game penalty system is switched to off to prevent ghosting, with the understanding that GTPlanet racers do not need the in-game penalty system to follow posted track rules. Shorting the track is strictly prohibited.
  • In case of any incident involving a crash or rule violation, please review the replay before drawing conclusions. Note the time and location of the incident. Try dialogue with the other driver first with Private Messaging. You may report the incident via Private Messaging, with details, in a timely manner (ie: soon after the race), if warranted, so an appointed steward &/or the race director may review the incident.

Get the FR in a.s.a.p. to assure acceptance in advance of racing.
In order to check the league lounge, you must click on the coffee cup,
and wait for the room content list to present.
No yellow people icon will show, even when the room is full.

Also please note that all club communication should be done through GTPlanet,
and not directed toward the PSN acct VCRC, as nobody checks messages there often, if at all.

Any public club news will be posted there.
And scheduled races are posted in the OP.

And any general club Q&As can take place in that thread, of course. 👍

That's where the planning takes place.
(And super secret club activities! :sly:)

Thanks... back to your regularly scheduled thread...

I won't be able to make it... :( School and such. Lots of work piling up (that's also why my gallery is practically deserted...)

Thank you for the information though!

See you around,

Damn! I'd love to do this, but sadly I've got cadets at that time. :guilty:

Great fun racing!
Thanks all. Congrats Zorrin / Ditquois.
4-way tie for 3rd place! :D
This is the 1st time I ever posted a 4-way tie!

Wow! great race all :) Really enjoyed it

(can I get 4-5 extra points because of the first lag? )

Also sorry for any contact with anyone, I let drivers that I hit back past (usually sorry if I didnt):guilty: .
I dont think people could see me where I was overtaking so no ones fault :) But yes very close with the points

In the race I saw one car lag in Race #1... but then in the replay it didn't show it... which usually it does.
At one point I saw the white car kind of jump from one side of the track to the other, but when I watched the replay, I couldn't find it happened.
But I figured something odd happened because suddenly you disappeared from my side and next thing I knew you were behind several cars.
At least I had tire sounds. I once did a whole event, wondering what was wrong & missing... and then realized. :dopey:
I wish PD would divulge what causes these things so they might be prevented.
I put the "visible damage" to OFF, because I have heard, and I've always suspected, that particularly with premium cars, it's more likely to cause issues.
Well, that and the visible damage lots of times looks dumb, like the cars are smooshed clay figures. LOL

I really enjoyed the races to these are fun cars to drive:)

Cool photos Melon:tup:

I got totally smacked by JT's warping, hit me so hard the Fiat 500 got damage - it's got 16 HP? How can it go that fast!

Also it's only the standards that get all smudgey. The Premiums will have the bodywork falling off etc etc.

Be nice to maybe try out the visible damage for the next one - if it's a Premium event do the first race with it, the second without and see if there are any issues. I also want to see a Miura with parts hanging off so I'll gladly go play Crash Test Dummy :D
