well it depends on what you think makes a car best...
personally i think the speedster is a hard car to beat for its handling abilities... but it is clearly not hte best if by best you mean fastest...
still if i had to buy an na car for driving ease and enjoyment i think this car would get my money...
if you wana speed and ahndling not worrying about price... nsx... speed 12 or 6... are great choices off the top of my head

i thought we were talking about cars... not race cars lol... but that reminds me that the vette, mustang and viper are all great na cars... the mrs and the g limited mr2 are great... as well as hte supra szr i think... well the na one for that matter... and of course the 350 z ooooo.... the rx8 i would have to say is one of the worst na cars in the game... probably not that way in real life... rotary engines and mazda engineering = great car

sorry i didnt mean to make you mad... but clearly a race car that is na is even better than a turbo one... no matter where the car is being made perform... the viper is for top speed and the vette or nsx of anything else including hte viper for winning races
not to mention better than non race car na cars... although some cars can keep up with the prof na racecars driven by ai

turbo or not to turbo ... seems to be your question...
i admit that turbo does have its advantages... such as lightweight for power and such on and so forth... all turbo does is porvide a way to cram more air into the engine in order to cram more fuel into it and therfore create more hp...
if i had a choice i would prefer a na car or a supercharged one...
i guess i am talking max 500 hp here and most likely around 300... a good na engine can and will be much more reliable than a turbo one... many different consideration must go into the poer output of a turbo engine... while na really only depends upon the revs and your gear... which are interconnected and what not...
a good na engine can be as light as a turbo one for the same hp... take the tvr tuscan for example... that car is light and that is the way to go... light car na engine...
i have nothing against turbo... as it is the means by which smaller and more fuel economic base engines can provide more power... on a smaller capital base...
it is my personal belief that na can and usually is the better adn more reliable method of power...

Oh, I misunderstood, because you didn't really break it up, and it didn't really make sense to me...
I also said that most of the turbo cars have better overall and top performance than the NA cars, but GT3 doesn't realistically sum up the lag in turbos, and it doesn't have supercharger options, which should be put into the GT4...

You're aobsolutly right, which is why turbo cars in GT3 overall perform better than naturally aspirated cars. However if the lag was a factor, and abnormal backpressure, and boost spikes, and the fact that turbo's heat up piston's like crazy, were all incorperated. Naturally aspirated cars would have a VERY prominent dominance in the game.
The perfect example of that, is that a 1000 or higher horsepower Supra, with just the "Turbo upgrade" has good acceleration, and good 400M times. Considering in real life, it wouldn't see 4-500HP before 80MPH
