Lost GTA car after game crash

Hi,

I got the Silvia GT Academy car today. The thing is after receiving it I did a few of the special events and the game crashed on me after one of the events. I left the ps3 on for a while and when I came back it was still on a black screen with the saving logo at the bottom right of the screen. In the end I had to restart the PS3 and when I launched GT5 again I got a message along the lines of unable to load save data but backup has been found (not sure if that's a PS+ thing?). I had 2 options 1 load the backup or 2 start a new game. Naturally I chose 1 and the game loaded up but my Silvia has gone and it's not in the gift area.

Does anyone know how I can get it back? I've golded all the GTA events, I've got almost all of the cars available and I'll be gutted if I miss out on this car. I'll probably never use it but I spent long enough getting all the other cars.

Check your garage for the car. The "back up" backs up the game when it first loads the game (not sure if this is after receiving paints/museum cards/gifts) so car might be in garage.

I had the same issue, car has vanished. Not in garage. Its GONE...........

I loaded up gt5 today and both my cars were gone the Leaf & Silvia , not anywhere to be found ,talked to sony on the phone they dont even know what gt academy is lol. useless ,they wanted me to delete my game data and reinstallit cause they thought i was missing files ,nope i didnt do it was working fine the day before and i had both cars the day prior so i guess im out 2 cars , sucks !
