I decided that what with all the "Venom" named threads and whatnot I have created, I should tie it all together in some sort of Venom-inspired GTP fanfic. Users who read the threads I post in may have noticed that my recent posts have included some unorthodox content, usually in the form of computer commands vaguely relating to the post's contents. That was all leading up to this, The Venom Saga. I don't really know How long it will be, I was originally planing to write ~5 chapters but if it gets popular I'll write more. I am smoothing out Chapter One, and will post it very soon. I will say it takes place in the far future, and makes (blatant) references to basically every "Venom" based thread or post I have ever made. It will be written in 2nd person, a writing style I find to be highly underrated. This is NOT another GT5 FF based on staged races, this is fan fiction for GTP itself.

I thought you had pasted a snip of a hack or something. Is it meant to make sense? I'm not quite getting it, and I write a lot of Science Fiction.

It is meant to make sense once you figure out how it's written. I also write alot of sci-fi, but I don't think anything like this has been done before.

Doctor, the daleks have created a new weapon of mass destruction: fan fiction.

I hope to god we're not still using MalwareBytes and current file structures in 3500AD!

Malwarebytes had capitalized all other anti-malware software building companies (including buying the rights to MSE and Winodows Defender) in 2238. Ever since that, only one other program was created, but it wasn't free like MBAM is.

So is this a Malware Bytes guerilla advertising campaign disguised as a fanfic?

I must say, I don't really understand the narrative but I'm very much enjoying Omnis' replies. Do carry on.

taunt.exe is either a random comment generator or the newest incarnation of (not so) Cleverbot.

Well, it's different, quite inventive way of doing it - I've no problem with it... might get tedious to follow during longer installments though.

taunt.exe is either a random comment generator or the newest incarnation of (not so) Cleverbot.

taunt.exe was the fourth try of getting around the anticoded spashtext.exe, both of which simply display text imputed by an external source.

And anticoding is a method of instilling onto the OS certain processes to automatically end if they are ever started; splashtext.exe was used for hacking a lot before the event so it was anticoded. Four attempts were made to bypass the anticoding, but only taunt.exe actually worked.

Couldn't have said it better my self. Actually, I could:

There is no pain, you are receding. Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying.

Okay... I think I got this.

So, basically, this is a story set 1000 years into the future after the world has supposedly ended, and now we're reading the story of an Earth simulator from a computer, which controls this Earth simulator. The simulated human race is run by minor computers, and the main computer can end it all whenever it wants, but it doesn't want to, it just wants to watch all of our simulated bodies crash, burn and die.

....or something.

Close. But no. Ever see the movie "The Matrix"?
