Steward's Comments:
Wow, this car has grip to spare, especially with Racing Softs. Mr. P should enjoy this, as far as I know, this is his favorite GT series car. 👍

Viewing your lap Time Splits:

  • You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay

  • To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Home' and watch the replay from there using the 'Replay Theater' option.
  • While Viewing Your Replay, Choose the "Live Timing Monitor" To View Your Sector Times
  • To post your T1, and T2 Splits, simply post the sector times that are shown in the live timing monitor.
  • The WRS Fetchbot has been updated and will now add your splits together

Save best lap / ghost replay icon

Standard Clean OLR Rules:

  • At least two tires in contact with track at all times.
    • In situations where contact with the track is not possible because tires are airborne (above the ground), then the run is only legal if at least two tires would have made contact with the track if the car were not airborne.
    • If track contact cannot be 100% determined, then consider it dirty.

  • Rumble/ripple strips are part of the track
  • No contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  • If you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
  • No hybrids
  • No cheating of any kind, these are relaxed races and we are experienced racers, we know what times can be done, and we can read your mind.We will know.
  • Nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules
  • Save your best lap/ghost replay

Thread rules:

The following information cannot be discussed in this thread (they can, however, be discussed on MSN or via other private conversation methods
):

  • Lap time
  • Any information which can be used to infer laptime

The following information can be discussed in this thread
:

  • T1 through T9 times
  • Any settings discussion.

Number of splits: 9

The posting of settings is encouraged, but it's certainly not mandatory. We respect anyone wishing not to post settings, so please do not publicly ask someone to post their settings, they will if they want to.
It is however expected for splits to be posted if you're taking part.

Submission:

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 76 Submission) to (WRSFetchbot):

  • Please submit your time in the following format on a single line:
    Time: X'XX.XXX
    (Example-) Time: 1'10.100
  • Users can ask the bot for the current submitted time by sending a message with the body: "get entry"
  • Users can delete their submitted time by sending a message with the body of "remove entry".
  • If multiple times are submitted, only the last submission will be counted.
  • Please include in your submission PM your final lap time
  • The deadline is Monday, July 30th, 2012 11:59pm GMT
  • If you are unsure of the deadline try this site.

Why Use GMT?:
GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Nrburgring24h_13.jpg

Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • Any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • When a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • Failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • Video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Wow, that really will be a lot of grip. I take it the Engine stage (just level 3 available, IIRC) will not be allowed (or is it included?)

EDIT: Back on PS3; oil change only. Engine 3 takes it to 538 along with the oil change. I just bought a 5th one of these - and that's just on my GTP_account.

I really hope I qualified for a division and get to compete this week, as I love this combo.
Fingered crossed.

Looks like fun. I'll be gone most of the week, though, unfortunately. I'll have to give it a try when I get back late Saturday.

I'm hoping we'll see a combo on the Nordschleiffe only eventually (although I'm getting used more and more to the GP portion).

Dat grip :D

Some crazy grip... I've gone with Kev's transmission, 2.0 / 1.0 camber 0.00 / 0.00 toe

Usual ride height trick, raise the front and drop the rear, dampers and springs just left stock. I get so close to the turn 2 wall, much have left myself an inch!

Added this to the first post, apologies for any confusion. I was in the tuning screens and not the tuning shop when reviewing the available parts, so missed that the stage engine upgrades are possible on this car. I had one in my garage with stage 3 already on it, so was able to double check the redline.

Engine Modifications : Stage 3 Not Allowed - Verifiable by RPM Redline on Tach.

Just getting a clean lap here is a challenge!

But a bigger challenge is getting all these times in with no typos!

Another week I'll have to sit out. Have the car and love it but can't handle the time in the seat because of the feet.:indiff: Have fun, guys! :)

Is it just a problem I am expierincing but I can't see Fletchy taking the splits, in my board all is still empty :(

Reread the rules on what is track and what is not. Looks like most everything that ain't grass is track. Can't remember if On Line Dealership cars are at full power with first oil change or not, but have these new splits after a second go around:

20.555
25.259
26.965
18.963
40.331
30.777
26.167
45.119
35.014

I now stand corrected.

Sweeter still if they were here already! Wheel is in customs with the rest of our furniture so in theory may be here this week.

Looking forward to getting back into it

Love this combo, hopefully I´ve a lot of time for it.

Let´s see what I´m capable at the ring :)

Good luck everyone!

Does this car need break in when bought from the OCD?
