The RRT All-Star Race will take place on Saturday, July 28th, 2012 at Daytona International Speedway at 10PM Eastern. The car will be a fully tuned Dodge Viper ACR '08. NO OTHER CARS WILL BE ALLOWED. The race will be a 50 lap battle, broken down into 3 segments. First, there will be a 20 lap segment. Then, during a 5 minute break, the field will be inverted. A second 20 lap battle will ensue. Another 5 minute break and another field inversion will follow. Finally, there will be a mad 10 lap dash to the finish. There will be a minimum requirement of one pitstop in the 10 lap dash. All cars must use Racing Soft Tires, tire/fuel wear will be on.
To be eligible for the RRT All-Star race, a driver must have won a race in the RRT Summer League (or Pro League, if applicable) prior to July 28th. Any driver wanting to participate in the All-Star race that has not yet won a race will have the chance to during the RRT Open Qualifiers. The top two finishers of each of the RRT Open Qualifiers will transfer to the All-Star Race. Qualifier 1 will be only for drivers that have made a start in the Summer League or helped form the league. Qualifier 2 will be for GTPlanet.net challengers, plus any RRT driver not yet qualified.
Winner of each open will receive a level 4 prize ticket and choice of Gold Chrome Paint, Silver Chrome Paint, or Horn 112.
Winner of the All-Star Race will receive a level 23 or 24 ticket (winner's choice) plus 2 Gold Chrome Paints, 2 Silver Chrome Paints, and 2 Horn #112's.
