Steward's Comments:
Second time we have used this car. Next week is the 10th anniversary of WRS, but the celebration starts early! We're using a Supra, just like the first WRS, next week, we might be using the same track as the first WRS, who knows? Lots of grip, lots of speed, have fun!

Viewing your T1 & T2 Lap Time Splits:

  • You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay'.

  • To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Home' and watch the replay from there using the 'Replay Theater' option.
  • While Viewing Your Replay, Choose the "Live Timing Monitor" To View Your Sector Times
  • To post your T1 and T2 Splits, simply post the sector times that are shown in the live timing monitor.
  • The WRS Fetchbot has been updated and will now add your splits together!

Submission:

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 104 Submission ) to (WRSFetchbot):

  • Please submit your time in the following format on a single line:
    Time: X'XX.XXX
    (Example-) Time: 1'10.100

  • Please include in your submission PM your final lap time

  • If you are unsure of the deadline try this site

Why Use GMT?:
GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • Any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • When a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • Failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • Video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Title says Tokyo but the race details say trial mountain.

I can't wait to jump into the Toyota!

Oh snap. This will help mend the wounds of no more football this season 👍

I haven't done a WRS in a while but I need to so I can get promoted, this looks fun :) might be tricky avoiding contact with the walls though :nervous:

EDIT: If you look on the leaderboard it also says 'trial mountain' ;)

Just had a quick practice on the 600pp super gt 'expert' seasonal on this track - tuning is allowed of course, but only racing hard tyres.

The best part is the with the toms supra I could win by 16 seconds with only 577pp and with 130% and a performance difference adjustment of 426k I got 1,056,427 CR

Just a thought if you want a little practice and earn a boat load of credits in the process :)

Right - into arcade mode and a proper attempt.

Very hard to find time here so many places one can slam into the wall :scared:

Fixed the leaderboard details.

I'm trying to get fetchy to work, but not having any luck. Going to post in the LB thread.

Fixed the leaderboard details.

I'm trying to get fetchy to work, but not having any luck. Going to post in the LB thread.

Could it be that the LB has the date 2013 twice?

Could be the hash in the title (#) - not sure what its called in other territories

Joost could be using it as a special char, maybe (guess)

Great car and track and nice and easy arcade mode... will try some laps tonight 👍

10 years and still going strong! Well done to the WRS admins! 'past and present' for keeping people interested for a decade with an endless variety of combo's
Cheers
Ron.

All these big corners can soak up so much time, its always hard to get a complete solid lap.

Could it be that the LB has the date 2013 twice?

That seems likely, and will probably require manual intervention by Joost to the code. I fixed it on the board, but he still does not want to grab them.

Last time this happened was after the new year, and here was his explanation, copied from a background thread.

JoostBaksteen
To avoid fetchy harvesting all the weeks every 15 minutes, it keeps a flag which weeks are currently active, if the deadline has passed, it sets the flag to 'closed' and doesn't ever update the week again. This is what happened as fetchy thought that the deadline had passed. So I manually changed the flag to 'open', synced the board and everything was ok again.

Could be the hash in the title (#) - not sure what its called in other territories

Joost could be using it as a special char, maybe (guess)

See my post here with what I tried.

I'll keep at it but it feels like I've already hit my limit?

Just watched my reply and I'm not certain if stuffed the last turn or not...it felt ok, hmm.

Love this combo ! Got my first win back in week72 here. All in T3, which is a little off on this run, but really happy for the first session. Looking forward to the battle ;)

BTW: updated my sig. I now have GT5 platinum trophy on 2 different accounts, thanks to week 102, I was able to do grind out my 1000 cars in garage for my last trophy.

Slightly off topic maybe - but I really enjoyed this (R246 as it really looks):

note the GT-R to your right at 0'35 :)

Man this combo is wicked after a few laps 👍 I've yet to see a 13.4 in T1 but will keep at it anyway as it's seriously addictive  My best so far has...

13.566
39.070

been slightly faster to T2 and smoother through T3, so hopefully a few tenths scattered here and there... will try and chop it down as the week unfolds 👍

Congrats to the OLR team for reaching this landmark! Here's to many more .

Very addictive, and then more.

Awful T3 :).

Yeh, saw that actually! And that was a sweet video, it's things like this that I love about gt5, even the "non-orginal", "street" tracks, are very real.

Finally got a good time for last weeks time trial, the track awaits me in the morning for a shakedown :) Can't wait ;)

A quick half hour session this morning and my initial split times are as follows:
