After a great Vintage Nascar Series Season 1 another season was just beyond the horizon.

I'm surprised there isn't more interest here, this looks like a fun series. I'd join but it doesn't fit my schedule very well.

Yeah sorry ace that I haven't shown any interest. Definitely interested but have very limited time for racing right now. I am following the thread though so if life get less busy I'll be joining this :)

Yes there are about 3 or so more cars to reveal I just have to finish up some testing to find out if they are equal or not.

Oh cannot have a Vintage Nascar Series without the Plymouth Superbird.
 
I'm apprehensive to commit to a car with more models yet to be revealed. I even don't know what color scheme to compliment said unchosen auto.Would anyone like to post their signature color in advance? Like Greest may want to reserve Black.
 
Oh believe me I would not commit to a car either if I knew others were coming, but at the same time you could get your specs on all the above cars and test them to find out which one you like best. Be careful when you are taking weight away, because if you take away too much weight then you cannot get it back. You could declare your colors though.
 
Full car list is now up. Tried to find a good variety of cars that were race back in the day. I think it is a pretty good list.
IMPORTANT
Only 3 of each car can be chosen and its first come first serve.
 
I have dibs on a Shelby 350; only one remain. Colors TBD.

I'll probably miss a few races but I'd like to try the Shelby for now. Drove one last night at Tsukuba...Bullitt style!!! My colour will be dark green, not the black shown here.

We will probably be starting in a couple of weeks. I just wanted to finish up with school stuff before I got this series started.
Also, the Shelby GT350 is now unavailable as it has 3 sign ups.
 
OK, but you know the closer the weight is of the cars, then the closer the tire wear is.
 
I will be doing a TON of testing this week to finalize the specs. Expect the season to start in a couple weeks.

Also, is everyone ok with the season 1 time slot or would you perfer something else.

All testing was done with the same to speed in tranny and with 580 HP and 1340 kg. The Chevelle and Charger were tested without aero added to the car.
