Interesting that the Castrol seemed to be the right choice for the extremely skilled racers, while us humans seemed to do better in the Denso. I'm really amazed,,that you could get that Castrol through the corners at so high speed. 👍

I thought I done a lot better than mid-table, nevermind.
 
Did you guys find that no discussion of T times, made you unsure as to what a fast lap was?
 
Some quick times there and a new record for the combo's at gtdb.de I do believe...

After having a big break away I came pretty rusty and I ended up only spending about 50-60mins on this, not as much time as the combo warranted.

My clean run only had a 18.857 T1, and while I had some low 18.5's I never stuck them... oh well, that's life, bring on GT4 :D

Good to see the big turn-out (Div I'ers coming outta the woodwork...).

I'm surprised that the Castrol took the fastest overall time... did the podium finishers (all Castrol) concentrate mostly on that car, or did you give the Denso an equal amount of runs?

My times were:-

Car: Denso Sard Supra

T1 - 18.734
T2 - 51.450
T3 - 1'08.997
Final - 1'43.557

My quickest 1st sector of all was 18.576, and I didn't get my best final sector on my best clean lap either, so still had a good couple of tenths to get, but still chuffed to come 2nd in Div II in the anniversary race :D My best time in the Castrol was 1'43.704....

Fastest time in castrol was 1:43.2xx i think.
 
Congrats to Sphinx on the overall, sweet time mate.:bowdown: Sorry I didn't get started earlier in the week to give you Div.1'ers more of a challenge, but I doubt I couldv'e gotten below 1:42.750 even if I had spent the usual amount of time on it. Let's hear it for the last GT3 race for us NTSC drivers. Bring on GT4!:cheers:

Congrats to all the winners and podiums! I wasn't even close this time but hey, I'm actually fairly satisfied with my result believe it or not.. :) The lap felt good even though perhaps I could have shaved off a few more tenths.. Any way, great racing you guys in the top! Impressive.. :cheers:

Well, what can I say :sly: ;) other than stating that I'm very happy to have won the anniversary race. I have to admit I really wanted to win this milestone race and I spent a lot more time on it than I normally would've done. I'm just glad everything came together in the eleventh hour. :)
It was such a simple adjustment that swung it to be honest, and not in the area that I spent so much time on perfecting, and when I caught a glimse of the 1'08.014 T3 I knew that a 1'41 was on the cards but I lost .200 on the S bend after going into panic mode :ill:

Congrats to all the podium places throughout the divisions 👍 👍 and congrats to Persian Pride for getting the top Denso time 👍

I couldve done a low 1'42, given the chance, but circumstances beyond my control in the real world held me back, and i had "Got no time!" by the end of the weekend.
I did manage to post a lap a good 8 tenths slower than i reckon i couldve gone, but hey! i still won my div. and for that i am very proud and honoured!

I thank everyone for my congrats, and i congratulate Chips for his admirable time in the end, i know you were fightin lad, well done!

3 in a row can only mean higher things......

Wicked race guys, well done everyone!

"Got no time" was my moto also. It's hard to concentrate on braking points with your wife and two under 3 kids in the race car. Also ill advised is doing your bills on the straights...oh well.

Great race guys 👍, I spent a good amount of time on this combo, took me a while to get into the 42's, but I know I could have done better on the S bend near the end of the lap. My T3 was 1'08.5, so from the looks of Small_fryz lap, I lost about.3-.4 just in the final sector :(. But congrats to Sphinx on a great time, I'd really like to see how you pulled that T1, all I could manage was around a mid 18.4. Saw a couple 50.8 T2's but on my best lap I had a 51.0. I'll have my replay up tonight if I don't have GT4 yet ;).
