Driving Aids in 2P Battle

How do I turn them on?

I have tried everything I can.I went in to Options then "Arcade Mode" and turned all driving aids on and saved,and it still doesn't turn them on in 2P battle.I need to know because every time I race my friends complain about not being able to handle their cars because they suck at GT.

Help!

They should let you turn them on... unless your using your cars from your garage. Then you should know how your cars handle

2P battle does not allow you to drive with driving aids when using cars from you home garage. There is just no way to do that, I have tried everything. They must have forgotten to fix that when they added the 2player garage battle in the PAL version.

All stock arcade cars should have the option, though.

Actually, there is a way.

You have to pick any car from the regular arcade garage (not your own). Once you get to the start race screen, change your car and the select whatever you want from your own garage and it will have the same Driving Aids as you would in GT Mode.

I'm speaking for the US NTSC version, I don't know about the rest.

Wow, this has been driving me crazy suede53 thank you for your little cheat. This is just another bug with gt4 unfortunately. Thats what we get for rushing them, lol next time for gt5 lets just say to PD "hey guys take all the time you need!" :dopey:

No problem. I feel your pain. For the longest time I was really bummed with the 2P Battles because I just couldn't control some of my cars without it.
