Hey, this week we will be photoshopping the 2005 Bentley Continental Flying Spur.

As always, I am open to suggestions for next week's competition.



Thanks to Cardude for putting up the Week 111 Poll. I simply haven't had time in the past couple days.
 
How long does the poll stay up??? Well, um I'm not sure if someone closed the poll or something, but I can't vote. When i open the window it shows who voted for who, but i can't vote for any of them. And the only people who have voted are you and franz....

slicks: i think it would be better if people submit their pictures in the same image size, let's say a max width of 1000 pixels. I think it would be better for the votings, as not everybody owns a 1900x1200 + pixels screen. What you think?
 
I'm afraid I can't help, here. I've already voted, so I can't see what you see. And I didn't put the poll up. Cardude is the one to talk to (or perhaps a Mod??).
 
I can still vote because I haven't voted yet. The poll will be over in 6 days. It won't let you vote if you voted already. Another reason why you might see what has been voted for so far, you could have hit the View Poll Results link, which would show you who voted already.


Maccie, you voted already. You can't vote again. You choose 2 and then hit the vote button, you don't choose one, hit vote, choose another, hit vote.

The undertaker, you have not voted yet, you still have 2 votes you can vote with.

We do need to create some standard maximum image size. The forum is 800 pixels wide on a 1024 by 768 screen resolution, which seems the most common. You could make like a max. image size of 1,000 pixels by 1,000 pixels.
 
Yes, I know i have voted already, but at the time I wanted to vote (just before my last post) there was something wrong. All fixed by now. ;)

About the picture sizes.
I wonder if everybody knows about the imageshack service with the thumbnails.
The forum will load much faster and should be easier to view.
My pictures are maximum 1000 pixels width, easy for everybody to view (1024X768 screen).

To vote, go into the voting thread. Click on 1 or 2 of the checkboxes next to the picture you like. Then hit vote on the bottom left.

You click on Show me the Results only if you want to see what people already voted for without voting!

Yes you did at the end of last weeks comp you put up the poll and you must have voted before you posted the link or something cause I kept clicking it to get into the voting area.
 
um 2 isnt the limit for the votes. i was used to the old system cuz i havent voted here a while so i clicked 3 and said vote then i read somewhere 2 votes per person while it was loading. but when i checked after i had gotten 3 votes in. might wanna look into that.
 
If you want to let people vote for 2, which is what we did when PunkRock held the contests, you choose more than 1 vote per person, which will let people vote for every one if they want. You then go on the honor system and hope that everybody follows your request of 2 votes.
 
Two things....
1. I don't think I'm going to have time to participate in this week's competition.
2. I need someone to put up the poll and new week tomorrow. I'm going boating from Sunday morning to Wednesday evening, and will not be able to access the internet. I should be home for a while after that.
Any help would be appreciated.

quickly tried to get this in. if i saw a continental like this on the street (mind you ive never seen one at all) i would puke probably. but hey, what are you gonna do i was pressed for ideas....so i took the easy way out....cant go wrong with a thousand spoilers :scared:

Ummm... Sure. Good entries, more than I expected. I'm gone for a few days. I NEED SOMEONE TO PUT UP THE POLL AND THE NEXT WEEK.
I am leaving now.
