Are you kidding?
I think there should be more minivans and people carriers in Gran Turismo 5.
I think it would be great if there were minivan championships, too.
Does anyone agree?

Yeah lol.

That is one fast way of getting the shopping done!

While it would be nice to see different classes of vehicles, I think it would be best if we had Minivans that could be competitive with each other in races. For eample, if they keep the Oddysey in, bring in the Previa and the Nissan Quest (make them all V6s). If they bring in the Focus C-Max, they'll need to bring in the Seat, the Stream and the Mazda 5.

As long as there's a venue and a series wherein you can use and enjoy these vehicles, I'm all for it.

Not like with the FF Sedans and Coupes, wherein the only dedicated series in GT4 in which they're competitive is the Beginner's FF Cup. I'd say: Viva Le Van! but give us the race series!

yes to the Vauxhall Zafira '03
cause me dads got one and I'd like to see what it drives like! :)
And yes to the Renault Espace F1 that thing was fast!

@Gerneral Gravy, the old Previa was a FR van, with the engine sitting underneath the driver and front passenger seats. They also had a AWD version.

Anyways, if they do put in minivans, I would like to see a 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan AWD with the 3.8L engine in it. My parents own one of those and I think it'll be fun for me to be able to drive it flat out in a video game without risking killing the car.

Otherwise, why not put in the VW Microbus and original Dodge Caravan, both of which could arguably be important historical cars; well at least for the minivan sector.

If they were to put it in, this is what I'll want in it (If they ever do.);

@Gerneral Gravy, the old Previa was a FR van, with the engine sitting underneath the driver and front passenger seats. They also had a AWD version.

A car to be Mid-engined has to have the engine mounted between the two axles, which was the case with the Previa! People assume that a mid-engine car always has the engine behind the front seats, but that isn't true.

Minivans and MPVs!?!? Next thing will be lawn mower racing :irked:

Actually I would like one of these

So I can test out GT5s damage by running over the previously mentioned Minivans and MPVs. Who would prefer a Opel Zafira over a Ford Sierra Cosworth? Not me.

Lucida=Emina=Previa.

Previas would be great, love to see what I could get out of my parents one.

Actually it should be

Estima & New Estima T/ Estima L= Previa & New Previa.

The Estima Emina & Estima Lucida (Now no longer in production.) has no export variants.

And I thought GT4 cars were already terrible.

Minivans, Crappy Cars. Skylines.

The list goes on.

Like many other people have said before, if you don't like certain cars in the game, then just don't drive them. A big part of the allure of the game is that people can tune and drive a car that they might own and race it against other cars. And many people do own "crappy cars"; not everyone drives a Pagani Zonda, or even something more "common" like a BMW M3.

I myself don't like driving a minivan around much, but you know what, I think it would be interesting for me to be able to tune my minivan and push it to the limit around some track without having to fear killing the minivan or fear for my life.

Vauxhall Zafira GSI `04
Vauxhall Zafira VXR `05 👍

The VXR could probably outrun some hot hatches

*pictures VXR Zafira beating Golf GTI*

Also the Vauxhall Meriva VXR would be a good addition as well.

I remember the Minivan race on topgear, that looked like so much fun. The more the merrier I say! How about some utes while we're at it? Hilux anyone?

I want japanese big boxes... Hi Aces, L300s, Urvans... diesel jobs with top speeds of 80 mph and acceleration times in the 20s... would be a hilarious race.
