Just cleaning out my PM "Out" box & found some info that might help someone. I discovered one "Key" to this set-up by accident but have kept using it to best the field at GTWC / Hong Kong in FOUR different rides. In fact it works so well for me that the first time I won I hadn't even discovered how to turn the ASM "off"! 
Anyway, it's worked equally well for the TOYOTA 88C-V Race Car (MINOLTA) '89, NISSAN MOTUL PITWORK Z (JGTC), NISSAN XANIVI/HIROTO Skyline (JGTC) and more recently...even the lowly PAGANI Zonda Race Car '01.
1: Equip R-2 Rear & R-3 Front Tyres
2: Set your trans up as a "5-Speed" (Peak out in 5th before braking for the "Hair Pin"
3: Pit at the end of Lap #9
4: Do NOT add fuel!!!
I realize Hong Kong may no longer be the Challenge it was once thought to be...but perhaps this will help some one who might still be struggling! 👍 ...O.G.
