The thread creator was wanting to know about front engined, front wheel drive cars. The only way a rear wheel drive could count is if it was driven backwards! 
I'm not a drag racing fan, but I gave it a go in a standard Gather's Drider Civic Race Car and got a 14.537 second run. Pretty slow for a racing car

Hmm... I'm not going to try this yet because I don't really tune FF cars very well, only my FR and MR settings really count, but surely the Gather's Civic can do better then that?

amp88, was that with or without traction control? cant really expect it to do too well mind, even race cars aren't the fastest around, particularly FF's.
Dark Elite, i recommend delving into the world of FF tuning, particularly the honda VTEC's such as the Civic and mainly the Integra type-r, amazing cars. look around and find some tuning settings from this forum for FF cars, there are a few useful threads. im gonna try my hand at the 1/4 mile soon, just restarted GT4 with only honda cars! first car is a civic type-r for 9,990 with 27k on the clock, not bad!

you use a wheel or joypad? FF cars aren't FF cars in GT4 without a wheel. the feeling is so much different and FF cars are much easier to control.

you might wanna try using the analogue stick to moderate the throttle a little then, because using the X button is kinda rusty, doesnt allow for as much of the 'analogue' feel as the stick. tell me what ya get afterwards. got my spoon integra to 13 flat, decreasing........

Everyone is so up-tight about them on these forums, but yet in real life, I bet the couldn't drive a track car with out them.
Personaly, I see NOTHING wrong with driving aids, my brother races real cars (Drag, Road race, Drifting, and some street racing) and some cars really do need them, like TCS, or atleast ASM, real cars have them, and use them, so you can use it in a driving sim.
alright - in hopes of setting this thread down to a roughly related tune - what sorts of things are people doing to improve 400 times with their FFs.
i had a crack with some cars i already had (206RC and motul civic > both ran 12.6 ish), and noticed the quickest were always NA and a TCS setting of 1.
i have fiddled abit with the suspension and LSD, but can't make a lot of sense out of what actually helps times.

im trying a integra type R touring car, roughly 500 hp, and yes it is FF

its maxed out in 6th and out of nitro by the time it hits the line with TCS at level 5, weight balence moved to the front with 150 units of ballast

My Spoon DC2 is running 13.480 1.4 mile times WITHOUT ANY NOS. Curious as to what your set-up is.

i haven't play GT4 in awhile but i think my acura integra type r can do 12.9-13.1 no nitrous
