its hard to use swear words in posts.

Only words i know is arse and piss. as far as i know they dont get blurted out. Plus ive seen mods and even an Admin use them words, i think they are acceptable if they are used in the right context.

I think the key is the context, the TOS say not to swear ectbut I've seen everyone do it from time to time, theres a difference between "your a f'ing idiot" and "thats hilarious I'm pissing myself".

Just to give you my opinion a bit deeper (not that your bothered like ) if the admin want zero swearing then fine by me, it makes no difference to how I'll view the site. But my point was that there different context for things, if someone uses swearing as a means to insult other members I'd consider giving them a warning, if it's used in an expressive way or as part of a joke ect that doesn't involve insulting anyone in any way then I'm fine with that, but if the adin don't want it then there a lot of work to be done, I wouldn't give anyone a warning for that, I'd ask them not to do it anymore and hope thats that. This topic could get quite deep, but at the end of the day it's what the admin says goes, and it's upto the mods to make sure everyone upholds that. If they message me and say Live4speed your posts here and here areout of order (not like a toilet) you need to wathc what you say ect then cool. I've never had any problems with my posts made known to me exept a new member threatened to report a post of mine where I basically took his post apart and told him he was wrong, never insulted him though and I don't think he reported it he was just being difficult. Thats as exiting as my posting life has ever got .

Not okay: You dumb ****!

Okay: I politely disagree.
Not okay: **** you, you ****ing ****-**** mother****ing ****-bastard ***** whore.

Well, since the age span of members in this forum includes a lot of sub-18-year-olds, not to mention a number of sub-15-year-olds, the policy is that swearing is forbidden, whether meant humorously or insultingly. One uptight and irate parent could make Jordan's life very tough.

We try to make sure that swearing is kept to a minimum for that reason. Of course, you are more likely to be disciplined if you're also attacking a member at the same time, but that should not be interpreted to mean that all swearing is OK if it's not used as an insult.
