If he's enjoying it, that's not a waste IMO. Is that much worse than a few $10K on tuning a car?

Personnally, I think it's cool, I'd love to have such a room, especially with the vintage systems (well, I'd do without the Mario wall...) if I had the spare money to do so.

I don't think it is a waste either. Collecting things give people something to do. Some people collect stamps. They paid more for one little booklet with stamps than this guy paid for his games. Thousands of dollars for one lousy old rare stamp. At least a game is functional.

Its still a waste of money in the long run but if you use it often enough maby not. I just no as I've gotten older my use of my PS2 and other systems has steadily gone down for the past few years.
