Alright guys i noticed a possible error in the game. The Spoon race car s2000 (blue and yellow one) specs are 271hp/11000rpms correct? How come ingame the tachometer only goes up to 9k? I noticed this after driving it and noticed it wouldnt burn out with a full throttle launch. Ive concluded the lack of burnout because since the engine cant get to its rev range which should be around 9-11k rpms. This car makes no torque or power until after 9k!! But the game wont let you rev it that high!!! WTF! Someone try it and confirm please. Im dissapointed that I cant get full potential out of it. Just to make sure that maybe we 'are' revving it high enough and just maybe the tach is not 'scaled' correctly I went ahead and purchased the regular spoon s2000 (the purple one) to test it against. The regular spoon s2000 says it makes the same 271 hp but at 9000rpms. So i take it to the track and the tachometer is scaled to 10k. Ok so this ones ok. Final test - i did a simple 1/4 mile test and the Spoon race car (stock) ran a 14.2, and the spoon regular ran a 13.7!!! since when is the race spec slower than the street spec?? They boast the same hp but one at 9k and the other at 11k. So I believe my version of gt4 has a screwerd up race s2000!!! anyone else check that out?
