The doorstop, refridgerator, washing machine, super-atomic-wedgie--what ever you call the thing, I have created settings that make it actually liveable, yes, even at the Nürburgring.

This will go like the tuning menu in the car-setup page, and the first thing will be the brake controller.

Brake Controller
4/1

Suspention Setup
Spring Rate: 10.2/ 8.9
Ride Height: 60/75
Bound/Rebound: 8/8
Camber Angle: 2.5/1.0
Toe: 0/0
Stabilizers: 4/6

Transmission
1st: 1.336
2nd: .881
3rd: .616
Final: 4.100

Driving Aids
TCS: 5
ASM's: 0

LSD
Same as Default

Weight Ballance
Ballast: 50kg
Position: -35

One run at the Nür will prove it's stability, so long as inputs are fluid and you feather the flugplatz at about 140-150 mph. I ran a perfectly clean 6'02.841 at the fabled Nür on the stock R3 tires and the stock 729 hp.

My GT experience is complete: I made the 2J worth driving. :dopey:👍

It is fairly better at LeMans, though grass will be the devil.. Brake cleanly and in a straight line.

I had a little go at the ring with stock settings and then your settings. I must admit I liked stock settings better. Also had a go at Apricot Hill with the car, again I was able to hold corner speed a lot better.... hey each to there own I guess, never the less still a rather good setup.

I'm running an 8 hr enduro in A-spec right now, but I'm anxious to test your settings when I finish tomorrow.

I have added ballast but moved the ballast forward not backward. It appears to me that the rear would be too heavy already judging merely by its sideview (man oh man). I don't think I'd be able to drive it at Nurb, but I'll test it. I tried Nurb early on when I was first playing around with settings and I had a very hard time keeping it on the course. I was also using a Stage Four turbo which was probably overkill. If your settings don't work for me then I'll have to say it's my driving skills that are lacking. Do you use a wheel? That's a fairly quick run at Nurb.

One other thing about your suggested ride height. Traction would be minimized since a lot of vacuum effect would be lost, I think. I've usually used about 56-58. I know the car needs clearance to avoid bottoming out, so your clearance settings make some sense. I've always used springs in the 13-14 lbs range with a bias of heavier springs at the rear. I don't worry too much about gearing as long as I can get a decent start from a grid and the top speed is about 210 to 220. I'm still using a 2J that has a roll cage added so I'll buy another one to see if that will eliminate any discrepancies. I'd never used a brake bias like you have. Usually I run it 2/1 or 2/2.

Anyway, I've found the 2J a great car for me except at the Nurb, Sarthe and Motegi Speedway Oval. It's excellent at places like Infineon, Midfield, New York, Hong Kong, Deep Forest, Paris Opera, etc. I never tested at El Capitan. I'd heard stories that it loses traction at the crest of that hill. I'd only tested it once at Suzuka, but it couldn't keep pace with the F1 cars so I stopped my testing at that point. The GSX-R/4 is fast enough to win the normal Suzuka 1000K.

If you ever get a setup that works at Motegi Oval, meaning keeping up with R92CP, Sauber Merc, etc., without wearing tires down to shreds, please let me know. I just feel I must be missing some key suspension settings to turn it into an all-track winner. I'll let you know if I get lucky.
