Secret Black Cars

I have done some searching all over the forums for some answers, but got a few dead links insted. Most people know that come day 694, 4 black cars apear in the used car garage. I bought 2, because i was short on cash at the time, i got the 787B and the R92CP (the cheapest ones). I was told by a friend they will come round again at some point, so never gave it much thought.

I am now on day 1090, and wondering if these damn things are close or not. Do they come round every 694 days? Or are they only available for ONE week only?

No - every 694th day of a 700 day cycle.

They will appear on days 694-700, 1394-1400, 2094-2100, 2794-2800, 3494-3500, 4194-4200 and so on.

How much do said cars cost? There are those of us that haven't gotten anywhere's close to that far, and if I wanted to save up... how much would I have to have avalible?

About 8.5 million credits will allow you to buy all 4 of them. I didn't think I'd have enough to buy more than one or two, but after selling two valuable, 0.0 mile, easily-re-win-able prize cars, I had just enough to get all four.

The GT-One's the nicest-looking in all-black. But the black 787's my favorite of the "Black 4" to drive.

It's funny looking at the used cars lot again around day 1394, and not caring a bit about buying the black cars. It looks like a big typo seeing those wildly expensive cars right at the bottom of the lists.

GTI-89 - Its day 694-701.

They cost about 8.5 million total. By day 530 I ran the DTM race about 9 or 10 times to get enough cash.

There's a black Mazda 787B, Toyota GT-ONE, Nissan R92CP, and Nissan R390. The first two are my favourite. The Mazda for its sound, the Toyota for its stealth fighter jet-like look.

I liked the R92CP so much that when day '700' came around again, I bought another. So now I have 2 black and one in the right colours. :sly:

Wait...sorry to be off topic here and I think there was another thread about this but...isn't supposed to be the chassis refresh before the rollcage? it says at the description below that "refreshing the body of the car without the rollcage will make the car go back to a "new state" and doing it after the rollcage will make the body return to the shape after the rollcage was applied"

Correct me if i'm wrong :confused:

You're right, if I understood your post correctly.

Rollcages (supposedly) lock the chassis state to the current condition, so once you apply this before giving the car a chassis refresh then there is no going back.

Chassis refresh refreshes the chassis to its original state, when the car was fresh off the dealer.

I never get rollcages, but on the R92CP I did it before knowing that it will screw up my chassis. I don't recommend it.

Hope this cleared some things up.
