That's right. Which do you find the most usefull to use and in which races/series?

I've read the Black Beauties sticky but this can be for everone something else.

Thanks.

That's a good question. I'm currenly on day 630 something and propably won't have money for more then two black beauties also. I really liked the GT-one on GT3... ...would the mazda and the GT-one be a good combo? Oldtimers, plz answers this post, I could use the info too.

well since i'm alredy past and bought 3 black cars, i would sell my mazda and keep the nissan r92cp and gt-one

I would go for the GT0one and the 787b. You win the R92CP in one of the endurance races. Why spend $$ on something that you can win. Plus it will have 0 miles on it.

It's not black... And you can fix up the black ones. AND the black ones are lighter.

R92CP and the GT-One. The GT-One looks mean in black, and the R92CP is one of the best sounding cars in GT4.

Are they actually lighter?

I thought they were just painted black.

The only one I have the Black and Non-Black versions of is the R92CP, and their weights are the same. The black one is down on horses, being used and all, but only by 2 or 3, so it makes little difference. Oddly enough, I ran tests on Suzuka before using the chassis refresh option, and after, and the 'warped' chassis actually made considerably better laps.. But maybe it's just chance :sly:

Anywho, for me it's a tough one between 787B and R92CP, and 787B and GT-One.. but whatever you do, get the 787B - You won't be disappointed :)

well, i acutally didnt check if they are lighter then the other ones, but if its like in real life, they should be just a lil bit lighter, cause there is no color in them.

its just the stock carbon fibre color....:)

I'd take the GT-One and the 787B. I prefer the normal Red, White and Blue R92CP and I don't have much love for the R390.

This thread should have been made into a poll.

Uh, if I had the money for only 2 of the black beauts, I would probably buy about 50 new and used road cars :P

Back on topic though, the two in the '90s section (the GT-One and Nissan R3..um...90? are far more expensive. So if you have money for both of them you should be able to buy the Mazda, R92CP AND one of the newer ones. I think.

I bought the two older ones because I thought that they looked nicer, and they were cheaper, and then I bought the other two on the second used car cycle because by then money was not a problem.

Do they only appear for sale on that one day. I am way past that date. Do they come up every X amount of days as well? Thanks.

The cycle lasts 700 days (7 days x 100 lists), meaning they should come back on day 1394 (then 2094, 2794, and so forth).

I bought them the first time I played through GT4 (I spammed the German touring car championship to generate the money quickly) but the novelty wore off pretty quickly and I rather spent the money on something else during my two subsequent play-throughs.

I would advise buying any two of the "black beauties" except for the R92CP, which has about 150 more horsepower than the other cars that you race against. Although it is a better car, it makes for boring, runaway races.

1. The GT-One - you cannot win it
2. The R390 - it looks nice and you cannot win it
3. The 787B - you cannot win it
4. R92CP - looks bad, you can win it (I already have)

:edit: Actually I would just do the DTM and buy all four! :D

In 63 game days you can actually earn nearly $60 million credits. Considering that the total cost of all four black cars is just $8.3 million credits this should not be a do or die situation for you.

Let's say you have enough for any two cars, so about $6 million credits. It would only take you one win at 24hrNurb, and three game days (win race, get car, sell car) and you'd earn an extra $2.8 million credits. If you had $5.5 million or more credits than you'll have enough for all four cars. Just B-spec it with any number of the dominating cars and you won't even have to spend time racing the car for 24 seconds let alone 24 hours.
