Idea on new event for GT5! (ETC Young Timers)

What do you think about this? an European Touring Car event with the tracks and cars from 1980's, because I think the cars from this era are absolutly awesome!

Complete event with these tracks:
1: Monza, Italy
2: Vallelunga, Italy
3: Donington Park, Great Britain
4: Enna, Italy
5: Masaryk-Ring, Czechoslovakia
6: Zeltweg, Austria
7: Salzburgring, Austria
8: Nürburgring, Germany
9: Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium (24 hour race)
10: Silverstone, Great Britain
11: Zolder, Belgium
12: Mugello, Italy

And the cars you should be able to enter the event with: (only touring cars from 1980's)
1: Bmw 635 CSi
2: Bmw M3
3: Bmw 528i
4: Bmw 3.0 CSL
5: Volvo 242 Group-A
6: Jaguar XJS
7: Rover Vitesse V8
8: Toyota Supra
9: Mercedes 190E
10: Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV6
11: Opel Manta GTE
12: Renault 11 Turbo
13: Toyota Corolla GT

This Would be awesome in a well made game as GT i think!

I agree entirely. I do want to see as much from racing history as Kaz and the lads can cram into GT5. Kazunori said that his vision for GT4 was a tour of racing history. With the PS3, the only limits will be his imagination and how much time they want to spend perfecting that vision. Modelling hundreds of cars and dozens of tracks as well as thousands of components won't hurt either.

Also, a bathurst recreation. I'd love to drive an old GTHO falcon or a GTS Monaro. It would be easy to do also because the racing cars back then (late '60s) were pretty much stock

If they had a European Touring Car event, then maybe they should go for the:

FIA European Touring Car Championship

Also they could include the British Touring Car Championship into the game.

I was thinking that myself, although this does include the track for a race event. But this does sound like something that would fit into the starting grid idea.
