Conclusion: The pros outweigh the cons for me at least, I'm going to buy another battery and I think I will be ok. I really like the weather proof case since I will be traveling around with it while I'm in Europe this summer. It will be nice knowing I can get the camera wet. The picture quality is good enough for what I will be using it for and the light weight and compact size makes it a great camera to just throw in your pocket.

If you are looking for a decent point and shoot, compact, weather proof camera I would recommend this.
