The excessive number of Japanese Cars in GT4

Does anyone else agree about the fact that their are too many Japanese Cars in GT4? more than 400 of them. most of them are the exact same car just made in a different year with a different spoiler or whatever. whats the point of having so many cars if their's, for example 40+ Skyline's that all look and handle the same way but are classed as different because of their year of production? that just makes them boring.

GT4 also has more non-Japanese cars than just about every game in history - and the "40+ Skylines" may look the same, but some have more power, more torque, less weight and different drive wheels. Or are race cars. Not to mention the pre-89 models.
