Hi Everyone, I did not see this topic in the search results so I am starting this thread for people to discuss the cars they want.💡

On the top of my list is the Sauber Mercedes C9 and the Toyota 7.:drool:

The cars I really want that I don't have yet are the black Formula Gran Turismo and the Model T. Today, though, I crossed one car off my list that had been there for a long time: the Mitsubishi Starion rally car.
 
Blingy: Doesn't everyone want a car that fixes itself? I mean, it's possessed, but hey, it FIXES itself!
 
in gt4: i want the model t ford cause that then means i have golded the s licence.

in real life: i want
* 1967 shelby gt-500
* Ford Falcon XR8
* Ford Focus XR5
* Ford RS-2000 (orange)
* or anything exotic (mainly european)
 
I believe the original intent of the thread was to discuss cars in GT4 you want but haven't got yet. It's pretty flimsy as a thread premise but just scrapes through.

What it isn't is a wishlist of cars that aren't in GT4 that you want to be in GT4 or a wishlist of cars that you want in real life. Since then it'd be in the GT5 forum, or the Cars in General forum - where it'd be promptly locked for going over old ground.


So let's keep it going as was intended, please folks. And for anyone who wants to know where to get the cars they haven't got yet but want, a list of every car in the game and where they can be acquired is in our Wiki.

Cars I want in real life?:dopey:

Nissan R89C (Aka the GTP's of nissan) - Just powerful enough for the long straights on the highway. Overtaking everyday cars 280km/h FASTER than the normal street cars......that would be fun.

Toyota-7 Just imagine driving to work with a 600kg 840HP car. That would put a grin in the faces of your colleagues. :sly:
 
In Real life i want the:
Audi Leman Quattro:)

In GT4:
Audi R8 Race Car
Black FGT
 
I would like both of the old Mercedes-Benz Carriages, and maybe a Model T to go with it.

And I would love the Escudo too.
 
Hey, Me again. Really cool cars you guys are choosing. I think it would also be appropriate to post if you receive these cars. I just got the Bentley Speed 8 and that was third on my list.:)

On my lish wist now: 1992 RX-7 Type RZ, 1967 Cougar XR-7, NISMO 270/400Rs, basically I want ALL my old cars back.

Now starting over. Fist car? Mustard Mica Legacy B4 RSK. Sold the dang Lupo.
 
I'd have to say I want the Toyota 7 Racecar. I'll look it up soon for where to get it (haven't looked into it really). It seems to do pretty good against my Audi R8 (w/o Turbo 4).
 
My dream car is a '99 Viper GTS.

But if we're thinking realistically...

It would be nice to own an Mitsubishi Lancer...like the newer evolution with the paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

I nabbed one with a GameShark just to fool with (It's not like I gained anything except a lap or two around Sarthe II), and it's easy to control. In a straight line.

10,000 pounds of steel doesn't turn readily.

I want an RX-7 LM car and a 787B. And I'm NOT pimping the DTM more. (NO, I won't GS them EITHER)
 
I'm currently after a set of M3's - the GTR from M Club, GTR Race car from Schwartz A, and the CSL. Mostly the GTR for a couple 200 point runs.

I KNOW!!!! I mean with the Lamborghini you can make the assumption that PD really wants Lambos in the game too...but they can't get them cuz of that STUPID contract EA games has.

....but come on Pd....it's been 4 GT games and no Boss mustangs??? 👎 No original 64-1/2 pony car?? No '67 Fastback??? No 4th generation 5.0???? WTF? And no...the Shelbys do not count! The red Cobra R does not count! I'm BORED of the Cobra after driving it in GT3 for several hundred hours. I'm talking about original stock Mustangs that PD certainly could have modeled & added to the game by now...that come in several unique color schemes and make me drool! :drool:

Yeah! They should have most of the colors and and cars and have an american race in which you win a 1965 Wimbledon White convertible as a prize car!

I dont' know about a semi...but a Hummer? sure. Given how controversial they are and how PD allowed trucks in GT4, i was half-expecting the Hummer H2 to be there.

Going back to the Mustang discussion: doesn't it seem a bit odd they allowed a '67 Cougar in GT4 (it was also in gT2) and neglected its sister? I mean, the Cougar wasn't even the one most folks raced....it was supposed to be the luxury version of the Mustang platform; and given how the Pontiac Tempest/GTO is considered the first muscle car--but the Mustang is the first one that really sold on a mass scale and popularized the whole concept, it seems odd. It's supposed to be a benchmark...like the Model T, Beetle, Datsun 240Z, etc.

....dang i just realized we're way off topic...it's supposed to be cars we want in real-life that are already in the game. Oh well. :indiff:

Fine, i want an Alto Works! so there.
