Was I lagging in that first race before I was disconnected? All I know is that Otaku and someone else disappeared in quali then like on lap 3 many people disappeared at the Schumacher S and I disconnected. I just got mad because this is happening too much and I turned off the PS3....

Races in D3 went off without a hitch other than Az, who's unstable connection prevented him from racing 
there were no incidents or DC's Congrats to spyagent on his double header. 👍

What a crazzyyy Turtle Night in D1, i simply ran away in Race 1, but race 2 was crazy with the 4 car battle as well as a crazy battle for 5th between derp and the fish! Man these Marcos were Turtles! Awesome Racing in D1!! Couldnt ask for better racing!

Yes you were lagging badly, not your fault, but i saw you side by side with Otaku a few times and it did not looked good for him, did you see him? It was like a fearsome lag battle every time you tried to pass him.

Thanks Leo, but I never saw Otaku in the race and I lost him halfway through qualifyingI'll have a better connection next weekend because I'll be at my main house that's not in the middle of nowhere

Div 2 racers run the same pace and we had good turtle clean side by side racing with several lead changes!
This probably my best race ever... Starting at the back in race 1 (11th) and worked it to finish 2nd. Race 2 was really exciting! Again starting at the back and did a last turn pass to finish first...

I usually have great connection and for some reason last night I lost connection during the race. Couldn't even log into PSN. Maybe its the cold weather we are having? I'm gonna try to get on here in a few minutes and see if it let's me connect. If so I will add those that sent me friend requests last night.

For my first *real* race, I had a great time last night Turtles. Thanks again for having me.
I was consistently in the 2:44 with a couple laps in the 2:43 range, but both races I finished near the bottom of the pack due to wrecks...
Clearly, it's going to take a few more races to translate my TT experience into racing skill, haha. Apparently, I panic in a battle but I'm hoping that was just because the car in this race was just so difficult to make an overtake unless the car in front made a significant mistake...
I'm already looking forward to practicing the next car/track combo

Glad you enjoyed your first race! It takes a while to get used to racing with living opponents :-) Just be more conservative that normal (brake a bit earlier when trailing someone) until you get the hang of it. Poor Neil. He has such bad luck getting bumped :-(
As for the car, yes, it was hard to pass for the most part. Dolph and I were going to suggest to turn the draft on strong to make it more interesting...
It was fun racing in a different sort of way this week though. A bit like the Cappuccino races we had a while back.

Well, I hate to say it, but revising my situation, I'm afraid I won't be able to compete even in the first 45 minute race. At the very latest I can make it to 10:30 pm. After that, I can't even focus.

Man what a weekend race. The Mini Marcos was the definition of Turtle Racing at it's best. It was not easy to make passes on the Nurburgring but once you did make one, it was a thrill. An accomplishement.
Race 1 started off well for me. Was in a battle with Lobster (who's pretty quick by the way) and SpeedDeemin until I bumped into Speed. Slowed down for him so we can continue our battle at the back of the pack. Don't know what possesed me at that point, but I made my way back through the pack and made it from 10th to 1st with 2 or 3 laps to go. Held on to the win over John. I was just lapping 44s and 43s to get back in it and never thought I would make it, but I did and that was seriously my finest driving moment.
Race 2 was a whole different beast. The race in general was calmer. Less bump and cooler heads on shoulders. Small mistake were huge compared to race 1 and everyone was gunning for a win. For half the race we were 4 lads battling for 1st and as the race went on, 4 became 3. Lobster, John and I were bumper to bumper for about 14 of the 16 laps and were never more than 1.5 seconds apart. Too many lead changes to even count. Everytime I thought I could pull away Lobster would be right back in with John right behind him. I was pissed. Hahaha. But what ever it was Lobster had that Chicane on lock. Down. It was his spot to gain ground. While john was just hanging in there waiting for the move in 3rd place. 2 laps to go, I broke too late for the chicanes and messed it up big time. From there on I was a spectator behind then waiting for at least a mistake. Never came. But I did have first class seats to watch Johnsom stick his move on the last turn of the last lap to take home the trophy.
All in all. Too many exciting moments to remember. For instance lo 1 and 2 of race 2 being a train and everyone just calculating.... Until we got to turn one and all hell broke loose. Hahah
