Yet again we come to the end of another season, though this ending is very significant as it marks the end of official S.P.E.C. Races on Gran Turismo 5. Over the past 18 month and through many changes we have come to prove that we are Saturdays Premier Enduro Club. The next few weeks are going to be very exciting as we do some special races as a sendoff for GT5. Then starting on December 7th we'll make the move to Gran Turismo 6! I want to thank everyone for the help and support to keep this going! Moving forward I plan to keep this running as long as I can, and as long as people are still willing to do some amazing endurance racing!

I think that Mike Joy says it best, as we say farewell to GT5 and look ahead to GT6!

I echo what cmbeal317 said. It's been an awesome 13 seasons with everyone and I'm really looking forward to start the 14th season on GT6. The cars, the new tracks, it can't come soon enough for me.

With that being said, I would like to announce the winner of the copy of GT6.

Also since we're not racing tomorrow night would anyone be interested in having a track day? I was thinking maybe Spa or the Nurburgring? I'll probably open a room up around 10PM EST or so and I'll post the room number here. Feel free to bring anything you'd like other than the X2010/11.

( we can start a half hour earlier if everyone agrees )

Car:2011 NASCAR
( There are 11 different NASCAR's to choose from. Post what car you will be using so we can try to not have a lot of the same cars. )

-My choice is going to be the 48 Lowes-

Track:Indianapolis Motor Speedway​

Laps:120

Caution Laps:Lap 30 / Lap 60 / Lap 90
( 3 cautions just because of how many laps we are running )

All S.P.E.C. rules are applied with the exception that there will be a rolling start to start the race.

The winner of the race will get to choose a car / track combo that we have used in the past 13 seasons for the following Saturday, Nov 2.​

All SPEC rules apply. You must run at least 10 FULL laps on both hard and soft compounds. Brake bias is okay to adjust but trans is not. Remember, tuning is prohibited.

We didn't run NASCAR on Indy. We ran it on Daytona. Totally different racing.
There is 99.9999% more braking on Indy

Unfortunately, I will not be able to race on Dec. 7th, the start of SPEC on GT6. Company Christmas party that night and it's mandatory. Maybe you all will be so pumped with GT6, there will still be some racing going on.
